West Norwood cemetery is a favourite of mine too. I love the feeling that apart from the ground consuming the departed, the ground is like a living organism very actively doing its best to consume the memorial stones and some of the larger structures too!

I do quite a lot of things with several local community projects - it keeps me in touch with all sorts of people who do good things and is my active resistance/antedote to some of the terrible things that are happening higher up the geopolitical food-chain. The projects really do make a difference.

I'm lucky to have an unending curiosity for visiting places, history, parks, gardens, landscape, architecture etc. and always have a camera on the ready - a couple of snaps from local walks in London on recent days below

Music has a special place - I developed perfect pitch and relate to different notes or keys like different colours or tastes but am a rubbish musician. I have always liked classical as much as contemporary and recently developed a creative streak for pairing tracks, often of differing genres, running them at the same time and coming up with something new. I'm intellectually promiscuous. So I'll learn a lot about a subject, then get distracted by something, learn about that for a while, rinse and repeat.

I'm a tangential gamer. While I don't run out and buy the latest and/or greatest, I like to play certain games, repeatedly, and like to keep up with at least industry gossip. Like the fairly recent fiasco that was The Escapist. Absolutely glory watching execs who don't know what the boots on the ground do, try to think they know more, and inadvertently burn it all to the ground. Oops.

Some topics that I've spend time learning ... and forgetting: Quantum Physics, Astronomy, Psychology, Linguistics, Etymology, English History, Economics, American History, Statistics, Writing, to some extent, and somewhat related to pies, Chemistry, as related to cooking, but not the useful cooking that lets you make tasty foods. The theory of cooking, on a chemical level, that lets you look for substances that can replace others.

I like seeing live music - mostly indie rock and pop. I try to support local bands and venues. (I used to play drums and piano.)

I'm a big fan of pub trivia nights - I used to do this regularly before the pandemic, and then I moved, so now I need to find a new place or team.

I also like gardening - by chance I discovered that this is a relaxing hobby (for me). It doesn't take much to get a few flowers to grow!

I enjoy crafting. Unfortunately I haven't done much in the past few years, but decided to dip my toe back in this week. Not the neatest, but here is a Christmas tree made from an old copper pipe and a verity of joints.

I play Minecraft too. Not recently. I mostly watch it now . People build such amazing things. I love the creativity of it. I like watching it and seeing friends play together and seeing their social interactions.

I'm a car enthusiast. Always wrenching or driving. I had my fun with fast cars and racing but now i like a reliable daily driver that's lightly modified and looks cool, but I also really got into offroading/rock crawling, so I built a jeep for that.

Also always enjoyed riding ATVs. Pretty much anything powersports related.

Also really into music. EDM, rock/metal/screamo, hiphop, rap, country.. almost anything

Other than that I love hiking and being outdoors, and many other hobbies.. I have ADHD and my life is like the definition of hobby hopping lol

Come to the UK and record an episode of Mrs Brown's Boys off iPlayer.

I'm ostensibly a professional comics artist for my day job and in my spare time I build Gunpla.

Walking! On my recent Malta holiday, walked up to 4hrs 30 daily.
Felt 15 years younger.

Great interests! I'm going to the Leeds Splunge event next month, and have booked my rail tickets, returning to Scotland via the Settle-Carlisle line! Looking forward to that! Mixed I would hope. I'm trying to get a decent homestead going with a garden and livestock. That would be the big hobby. Also, reading, games, ebikes, cooking.

I've had to sort of adapt mine as I've gotten older.

When I was younger I was hyper into martial arts along with some of my brothers. Jujutsu, Iaido, Taichi, Gung Fu etc. I had thoughts and dreams of doing stunts before I got sick.

Metal and woodworking. I for a very short time worked as an apprentice with a swordsmith / blacksmith and it was heaven. I never felt like I belonged somewhere so much. This was unfortunately around the time I got really sick and had to stop. He's since moved to British Columbia.

I'm a bit of a sci-fi nerd. Star Trek and Star Wars, Babylon 5 to name a few.

I'm a lover of fantasy books, Lord of the Rings etc.

Video games are are also a weakness of mine. RPGs in particular and co op games. Fighters like Street Fighter and Smash from time to time too.

My interests in sports have gotten tame from when I was a teen. I used to be hardcore into hockey in the 90s, and football to a lesser degree.

Football did play locally now watch it football league & none league love a proper derby game where you can cut the tension with a knife.
Motocross raced from schoolboys to adult, motorbike bikes, Mountain bikes & BMX,
I did use to game but now with age find gaming to hard to get into.
Hiking/wild camping And fishing carp and coarse grew up nr a river,
recently started getting into cars and thinking about getting a little sportscar and binning fast bikes i think as you get older you look more at the potential risks

I do model trains
And rc cars
And go to a lot off presvered lines and do the odd charter train doing a class 50 trip soon

I enjoy talking about my divorce in my men's rights support group, and showing my co-workers pictures of the boat I plan to buy.

I had a mixture of interests catered for today (and some WAM-Lite) on a visit to Gunnersbury Park Museum where there is an exhibition of sci-fi production props from locally-based film studios (Star Wars, Dr Who, Space Cops, Space 1999, Red Dwarf, original Hitchhikers) and a nice garden etc.

When arriving I passed a couple walking by - the women was in a flouncy blouse unguarded against the steady rain and she looked very untroubled, strolling along and chatting in the dampening clothing. Within the museum there was a display from a 1935 catalogue showing mens' swimming costumes which appealed a lot. Several of them which would now be classified as more feminine look perfect for getting wet in.

Later, in the park, there was a gathering of a couple of families on hearing a collective countdown, I looked around and on reaching zero a younger and older person pied each other with plates of squirty cream to much cheering. (They cleaned up rather more quickly than I might have done).

After a while it was raining again and not being shivveringly cold, I was happy to feel the rain on me and listening to so many birds it was like the dawn chorus. I was wearing my tightest trousers, so feeling any drops instantly, and a girl's crop top under a zip-down leather jacket, enjoying the the sight of drips building up on the shiny black. I'm having a very stressful time at the moment and this was a lovely quiet few hours of de-stressing and sensory recuperation.

I'm very interested in world politics. I am a doctor od economics via trade so my job is to teach high level economics, mainly focused on Asia.

I love fashion. I have a huge wardrobe I hope to wear more often, but I've gained quite a bit of weight.

Because I love cooking and eating different foods. Haha.

I also do digital art. I run a moderately successful art account on a different website.

I'm highly interested in modeling. I really want to get into photography of myself.

I used to be really athletic as a kid but that went to the wayside when I went to university.

I'm a concert pianist and I can also play the Koto which is a Japanese instrument.

Most involved hobby would be with the world of motorsport, be it virtual or real life, watching and competing.

Aside from that, fun playing games with friends, from tabletop, video and card games and then the odd TV show and movies.
