We are hoping to organise another event and we are looking into dates, but I can't confirm anything at the moment. However, in response to Norfolkboy, I think everyone who went will agree that the number of people in the venue was pretty perfect - there were enough people there to make it a really good atmosphere, without it being too rammed - as far as I know everyone got a good view of the gunge tank games and there was enough space for everyone to play in the basement. If we had sold more tickets we would have been in danger of it being over-crowded and ruining everyone's experience. So, due to the size of the venue, it's very unlikely that we will be able to increase the number of tickets available.

This also reminds me, there are only a few more days to complete your post-event survey, if you attended, so if you haven't done so already, please fill it out

Much as I appreciate the fact that there's a lot of people who want to go, I felt that this was the right size event. If anything, a few too many people. I would have preferred a smaller, more intimate event - but that is personal preference.

MUDKIP - good one, in response to Mudkip's post, that's mudfinger's party isn't it: I've actually got a comedy sketch for a Nigel Farage and Mudfinger if anyone knows how to contact him.

Similar sentiments here - just wasn't any more room for any more people; I think the organisers called that absolutely right.

Maybe this is the beginning of some splinter events for smaller groups that start running smaller events

Just realised the three girls JnC,Ari and Candy are all girls I like and have worked with at some point!
Anyway congratulations on your achievements of managing to arrange a difficult event of the type not seen for quite a while on these shores.
I'm glad everybody enjoyed it.
