Messy Miss Michelle has had a great day, totally trashing Mortimer and Cherry. But when hubby James comes to collect her, he feels she's been far too cruel and got far too much fun from destroying the other models. In vain Michelle protests that she was acting and following Rev's scripts, as James decides she needs punishing and puts her into the stocks, in a humiliating position where everyone can see her knickers. Then he delivers an epic punishment involving pies, gateaux, cherry yoghurt, ice cream sauce, squirty cream, gunge, chocolate and loads more. He even paints her brand new red dress with thick white paint. Ruined! The interaction of the real life couple is absolutely fantastic to watch, and James doesn't hold back.
Towards the end Michelle is released from the stocks, only to get further humiliation in the form of being forced to sit in a cake, and getting a final great thrown pie to the face when James misunderstands Michelle's "give me the pie" request :) :).
I do love this scene, I think it came out really really well, and there's the natural easy reactions that you tend to only get with couples (or bffs) who are so in tune with each other.
I have to say the last photo is one of my all time favourites.
It reminds me of the Esther Muir wallpaper paste still photo in Day At The Races. In both cases the 'victim' still has their arms out appealing, a gesture now redundant as the mess has already landed. I love that dynamic, I have to say.
