I wanted to start a public thread for producer positivity, since consumers have been very vocal about their complaints-I wanted an open forum to thank every person on here who has had the courage to make a mess and post it! It is very easy for someone on the keyboard to tap out their whining, but very hard for someone to shoot and share without various worries. Regardless if you have the fetish or not, you are putting work into wam and it is very discouraging to see all of these posts. Thank you to several producers who do have the fetish and take every detail of their work seriously, I see you and appreciate you!
For those who don't like it-kiss my mess booty-I shared pics below!
For reference:
Brattyshortcakes said: Hi! I really try to avoid even giving these forums life anymore, but you caught me in a moment...I can never tell if this is a cry for attention in the site or what. I don't do well with whining however, just ask my kids! I really don't mind constructive criticism as I am open to learning new techniques, etc. So, moving forward, please just specify or send a message to the producer you would like to see something from. Let me flip the script for a moment, what do you think your reaction would be if I came on here and started a thread "The wam consumers have declined in quality". My complaints would be disrespectful of time, no funds for scenes, and unoriginal role play. Yes, I also get annoyed by the blast of Onlyfans models who jump in (haha) to wam because they must think it is a money maker, but then disappear after a few months. But, for a site that disses on OF so much, they seem to shoot right to the top, regardless of quality. And if they don't have the fetish, I can guarantee they are just repeating what they see on here, making it seem like a pattern and in your reasoning, a decline in wam. I think this misconception that the producers are just rolling in dough (haha again) is wild. I don't even make minimum wage. Look at the prices of my scenes, but then if I raise them, I don't sell anything. I can't keep buying all the substances on my dime because you threw a tantrum.
Lastly-I don't do wam FOR you, I love doing wam WITH my friends on here Since I don't have the capability to travel everywhere, we settle for virtual.
Well done Bratty for the post. In fairness there are a number of positive posts that do appear on various threads but it's worth emphasising that without the Producers work there would no forum. So "thank you" to one and all
The number of posts complaining about how things "aren't like the old days" are far too frequent for my liking and seem to accomplish nothing in short or long term. Especially when it comes to the (and yes, I recognize this is a strong word) vitriol directed at amateur producers and blaming them for you not getting enough of the kinds of content you want. There's an ever-present gatekeeper mentality around this place and it is exhausting to read on a fetish forum.
I genuinely appreciate you, Bratty, and all of the producers making WAM content, whether it is specifically tailored to my tastes or not. If something is not tailored to my tastes, it's not that difficult for me to just move on and not watch/not buy it without complaining constantly.
You all put so. freaking. much. time and money into helping us get off and I've genuinely never had a producer be anything but kind, no matter how many times I message them asking how long the dress a model is getting messy in in a scene.
Just want to shout out Jayce and Leila Hazlett, both of whom have contributed so much to our community for over a decade. They are both lovely people and are a joy to work with. They have both faced some really monumental challenges over the past few years, but they have remained kind and professional through all of it. They deserve your support.
Miss T also deserves recognition, even though she is a little less active here than she once was. She is still producing content and is still the best Domme in the world.
There are three other producers who haven't been around as long, but I think our community is very lucky to have them: Larzstord, Brooke Madison and Bri Olivia. They do such great work, with such enthusiasm, and they are also just very kind and attentive.
If you are looking for a custom, I can whole-heartedly recommend any of the above. They are a joy to talk to and are all clearly dedicated to making great content and being supportive members of our community.
Yesss we need all the positivity and appreciation posts! I love checking UMD and seeing so many empowered models rocking their scenes nowadays. I'm So grateful to be close with a lot of models and producers and I know how hard we all work. There's so much more that goes on behind the scenes that the consumers don't realize. All the hardships going on the in world are happening for us too but most of us are here bc this is what we love and are passionate about.
Anyone willing to put themselves and their models/friends/significant others out there, free, paid or otherwise for the benefit of others is a damn rockstar.
Very well said Bratty! Honestly all of you don't get enough credit for the cost, time and energy to produce these. That is not to mention the creativity involved. Personally I have found every producer very welcoming to ideas and supportive in every way.
These negative bitch sessions are constantly getting out of control and are not helping anything. If you aren't bank rolling the scene maybe keep your criticism to yourself as many of these are custom requests or someone fulfilling their own personal dreams and being nice (brave) enough to share it with the community.
It's fucking terrifying to put yourself out there in a messy state. Many people on here have vanilla lives outside of WAM and UMD that come with their own stress. We should be supporting each other and building each other up rather than tearing people down. Words do hurt! It's fine to have opinions and it's okay to keep them to yourself and move on. I don't like everything I see on here but guess what, I just move along to the next thing because someone obviously does like that or had a great time making it.
The last thing I want to say is be respectful, you get out what you put into this world.
To all the producers, enthusiasts and other posters I am sorry that this post even had to be made. There are more people that appreciate you than don't. They might just be too shy to speak up in a vile echo chamber of negativity.
I agree. We are lucky to have so many great female producers, many of them already mentioned. Can I add a special shout out to the brilliant Candy Custard, a genuine wammer who has been a star producer and contributor to UMD for many years.
My last post got me pretty worked up and angry. Producers know that your appreciated and try to tune out the static. Keep doing what you are doing because it's great! Everyone else just love, buy, review what you like and definitely tell them what you liked about their content! Let's spread more love and drown out the hate!
Actually I really do. What you did when you filmed my stories was almost enough to bring me to tears. Than You so much.
And thanks to all the rest of you out there. You are amazing, and I love all of you.
I am very shy so it is really hard for me to post anything on an open forum. But after 25 years, and thanks to Brattyshortcakes and Elysia, I finally did post a profile picture.
I've been reading UMD for close to two decades but only started posting last week, so I'm waaaaay behind on saying "thank you" to producers.
Gotta start somewhere: thank you, it takes a lot of work and guts to publish WAM content and it is very much appreciated. This is an actual factual place where fantasies come true thanks to y'all, that's pretty amazing
Unfortunately it seems as if there has just been a general decline in manners and common decency over the past few years it feels as if people believe they have a right to voice their opinion whilst not wanting to accept or listen to anyone else's
I've been on & off UMD for 22 years. The number of messy content creators, the variety of creators, the production quality, the volume of output, the accessibility of content, the variety of model shapes and styles... all unmatched now than in decades past, and it's not even close. We had it good back in the day with hard working mess makers doing the best they could with limited technology & resources (a few of which are remarkably still creating content today), and we have it utterly amazing now. You are all fantastic, and the community is very fortunate to have you, past present and future.
Same appreciation for amateur mess makers who share the messes they've made with their significant others or friends or by themselves. In the 22 years I've been around, it was only during the brief time I had self (male) pics uploaded that I received unsolicited messages from other men offering to meet up or idiotic messages only saying "heyyy". I can only imagine what the rest of you who post pics / vids on a regular basis, let alone model and/or run a store, put up with.
Thank you messy makers. Thanks retired ones. Thanks new ones. Thanks the one who have been here for years are are still doing it. Thanks models. Thanks store owners. Thanks for doing customs. Thanks for putting up with it. Thanks for replying to my messages and reports for takedowns. Thanks for scheduling, preparing, filming, cleaning up, editing, and selling wam. So many amazing messes and so much content that I enjoy every day of my life. You are creating content that I only dream about making, filming models (including yourselves) that I only dream of being with, and creating messy experiences that I only dream to experience.
Bratty your After Scenes photo album have led me down spending sprees, so I hope other producers here can appreciate that too hehe. The little engagement things you and others do make this place fun - like loving a comment, wam party, replies, asking for ideas, polls, messaging, and so much more.
Thanks for trying to keep it positive (but I wish negativity wasn't brought in here either because I don't appreciate that). I wish I could list everyone I appreciate and everything that they do which I appreciate, but it would be too long and I am already burnt out from trying to be positive here.
I feel like I missed something... This place CAN get negative fast.
Likewise, I'm very appreciative of what you guys do. Getting two people naked and fucking while filming it, is relatively cheap. WAM is expensive. Materials for the mess, destroyed clothes, clean up, fines (if you're caught trespassing or something).
I've only ever filmed one scene and been in one scene and it has given a lot of respect into what goes into production.
Thanks to all the people that make messy videos! It's hard enough to get my phone to capture some of my activities, so getting a small movie together is much more complicated! Also, if people feel like their own efforts aren't good enough, they probably are fine. My favorite videos are often low budget and not perfect - I still like them. Keep on making videos!
