The late '70s reboot of the Dating Game (USA) featured an episode where the sexy bachelorette decided it would be fun to have her three potential suitors pie each other. Apparently the thought never occurred to her that the two pied bachelors who lost the game would repay her in kind.

Wow! You're the best! The first clip, in color, is not the clip I was looking for. Same exact routine but not the clip. The one I was thinking of is in black and white and matches the first half of the second clip. So to have that clip you included is a huge bonus. Thank you!

I'd LOVE to have a crystal clear copy of the full event mud wrestling scene that was featured in the documentary film "Jabberwalk" aka "This is America". I know a 11min version is online but the color balance/brightness gets so bright that you can barely see the last 5min of the clip. I actually dont need a crystal clear version just a watchable one

Back in the AOL days, I stumbled across a very small website called "Ditter's Total Waste of Bandwidth." At the bottom of the page was a video or animation of a college-aged girl getting green slimed. According to the site owner, the subject had fallen asleep, and her friends had decided to play a prank on her.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of dial-up connections, I never got the chance to actually view the full scene, and only have this ancient screencap to remember it by. Truly obscure, and probably not even so great in retrospect, but at the time it was a pretty exciting find.

Love how that Miller Lite beer commercial gives itself permission to be over-the-top sexist by making it a fantasy commercial of two males (with their dates) in a bar...cuts from the cat fight to the two guys ruminating...then pans over to the two women with shocked / disapproving looks on their faces...then cuts back to the fantasy ending "let's make out" that cuts just as the two models start to kiss...

One of the most tasteless, inappropriate, FANTASTIC commercials ever produced.
I was lucky enough to be involved on a media panel that had an HOUR LONG discussion about this specific spot.
The "discussion" actually continued at a local bar LONG after the panel.
In case you're wondering, panel and others with an exact 50/50 split on whether it was (insert positive or negative here).
Not only that, but just about a 50/50 split between male and female.
Also a lot of "tasteless" but "incredibly effective" spot.
One I used to enjoy was the imokproductions videos. I only saw a few on youtube. I never saw them for sale anywhere. What I liked was that the women were well-dressed middle-aged women. I don't have a particular interest in this type of woman specifically, but it was unique. Also, the woman seemed very real. They were like the people you know in real life.
Some show in the 80s, think it was called Foul-Ups, Bleeps and Blunders. Had some Spanish woman w/ fruit in her head show up, I wasn't watching but she did some clip where she fell into a vat of cream, was completely submerged and rose out at least to her head and shoulders, and was completely covered.

I don't remember the games people play but I DEFINITELY remember the Solid Gold segment like it was yesterday. Every time I hear "Hit me With your Best Shot" I associate it with THAT segment. That and ...All the Marbles are almost directly responsible for my love for mud wrestling!

So, kind of a funny story, but I was still pretty young when I discovered that site and video, and I had e-mailed the guy who ran the page, hoping to get a little more context. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking and sent it via the primary AOL login that everyone else in the house used.
I didn't ask anything particularly weird, but I'm sure my parents were still a little confused when they read through that particular reply (I disavowed all knowledge of it).
In any case, that's where I learned the detail about the subject falling asleep. I don't recall the exact ingredients he mentioned, but I will always remember him saying "and that shit sticks like glue" as he described the aftermath of the prank. So it's entirely possible that flour was included in the slime.
