Then GO!!! Do everything you can to make it happen! I never thought I was going to make it to Vegas. But I asked for help from some friends and family and managed to get there. Yes, it set me back a lot, but the memories, experiences, and friendships were worth it.
There is obviously a wall for some of us to make these events. For some like me, it's illness or finances. For other's there's social anxiety, feelings of guilt or shame. But the great thing about these social events is that we've been talking with each other in some cases for years! You're not going to a place of judgment, but acceptance!
I sincerely hope there isn't someone that really wants to go but doesn't because they shut themselves down.
This just sounds awesome! I wish it every success. IF! & that's a big IF I could persuade the Mrs or just come on my own would I be able to wear sheer black tights ( with shorts or what ever) on the Sunday for the messy games? Cheers all LWS x

There is no dress code, so all are welcome however they feel comfortable. Just send me a pm if you decide you would like to come. There really aren't many tickets though, just a heads up.

What a lovely thought. You're right, we have all been talking to each other for years on here, and any meeting of wammers is going to be as accepting in reality as it is here on UMD.

Seriously, the Moomins have been doing this in public venues for YEARS (See the vintage Gungee clips) but they are doing this on home turf in the studio - a purpose built facility for getting people messy and cleaning them up. I've been to see it. It's amazing.

Thank you that puts my concerns to bed. I have never got messy with other people so I'm thinking of wearing white to get the most from it.
