After not getting what they paid for, they wanted your head on a pike on multiple separate occasions. We defended the hell out of YOU. I see now that was a waste of time and a big mistake. I'm glad this thread was started. Something similar to me happened and as of now I won't mention any names. I was in communication via umd message and email with a model on here about making a custom video for me. A price was set and the video details were all worked out $250. I sent the money and a week later I got an email saying she had a house fire and needed some more time. She also asked me for an additional $350 to help her rent a hotel room. A week after that I got an email from the model saying she wouldn't make the video any more. She offered me a refund which I said I would be happy to accept but she told me she had to get a loan from the bank and would get back to me next week which is now this week. I am still waiting to hear back from her about the refund and will let you guys know when I hear back from her and if not I'll let you know who she is so no one else gets scammed.

I was messaging you in confidence, and when you asked if you should say something, and I said it was your money thus your call, I thought you would have the tact to start your own thread or at least speak for yourself.

Now anyone with half a brain can put together my posts and verify what you have said. Many already have. So, here we go, then, in an attempt (not, misguided, I hope) to divert a witch hunt.

THE GOOD: Kaydens has done two previous vids for me, which have been fucking fantastic. Fantastic. FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC. I choose to believe her (or her cameraman) when she messages me saying that x, y, and z has happened to delay the vid. I choose to believe her if for no other reason than she has delivered in the past... and delivered well.

My rave review of her past work for me would go something like this:

She is a young, fit WAM model who is up for damn near anything, charges a reasonable price, and doesn't fake shit at all. I hate cuts and edits where you suspect or can outright tell that the model cleans up between whatever is going on. I realize that fetish models reserve crazier stuff for customs as to not turn off potential customers (such is the paradox of the fetish model), leaving tamer stuff for cheaper, mass download. But still, even in these customs, other models will clean up or show hesitation. Not Kaydens; she is 100% wam. I love her stuff.

One caution, however, is that when dealing with her after payment, she would sometimes have an excuse or two as to why a vid didn't get made or uploaded in time. Her turnaround time on messages could be a few days as well. No big. It is kind of like a great hotdog joint in Chicago; you arrive for the product, not the service. Usual turnaround, including excuses, was three weeks after payment. No complaints. I always figured this was a hobby for her, and, being an artistic/hippie type in her early twenties, one can't expect punctuality or professionalism to play a major factor in her day-to-day existence.


THE BAD: This situation. I do believe she has fallen on hard times, given that, in the past, nothing like this happened. Regardless, to continue to get online (or have someone else get on line for her, which is ostensibly the same thing) without responding to messages for weeks is downright rude. And when you add money to the rudeness, you create fear on the part of the customer. To continue the hotdog metaphor, this would be like paying for a hotdog and watching the hotdog guy stand around and talk to other customers... for three weeks.

Furthermore, since the last message I received at the time of creating this thread, multiple vids had been uploaded to the site. More hotdog: this would be like the hotdog guy, after taking your money, making hotdogs for customers yet to arrive, while you sit there, empty handed... for three weeks. This was such a change of behavior for her that I feared she was planning to take the money and run, perhaps getting a little more money via uploads before quitting the wam scene. As we have learned, though, her life has taken a nosedive.

Finally, to have someone else continue to upload your vids while leaving paying customers in a lurch was a bad, bad idea from a PR prospective, considering people are eagerly anticipating contact with you and can see you getting online. Let's complete beating this dead horse of a metaphor (see what I did there?) with the following: this would be like the hotdog guy taking your money, telling you the power is out and he can't cook, while he stands there making hotdogs for customers, expecting you to believe him. Keeping in contact, or having the cameraman do so, would have been a better move, if not the absolute best option.

I hope she can recover from this. Kaydens is obviously flaky, young, and in a bad situation; most of us are or have been there. I will give her the benefit of the doubt.

I say the above with the sincere hope to get out in front of what may be an incoming which hunt: either for me, filledmypanties, or Kaydens.

THE UGLY: This goddamned thread. Seriously, shut up about Chris and Gia. Start your own thread. I take no umbrage with you having an issue with these models/producers/whatever. Given the number of people messaging me asking if it is someone related to that mess, I assume you have a right to complain, just please not here. If it weren't for the back and forth about off-topic models, perhaps Kaydens's name would not have been dropped out of frustration. Seriously though, start your own thread. I will give it a "like" or whatever we do here.


P.S. The above was meant in complete defense of Kaydens's past performance while critiquing the handling of this particular situation, and, given that this comes to a suitable resolution, I would heartily recommend her for customs, as many of you already have.

Kaydens666 did message me on Sunday and told me about her situation, including a broken computer and stolen camera, plus bills, etc. She said she was not one to ask for help though. She said she would be back in full force in a couple of months. She was on UMD Monday afternoon and changed her profile status, but never actually opened any inbox messages since Sunday. She also has not checked this thread out as far as I know.

Kaydens uploads vids and post-dates them for the future so they automatically appear on that date even if she is not here. There is one in the queue now for Friday.

nywamfan, your model read this and immediately inboxed you. I know you said you'd write here when you got the response, but you haven't read it yet, so I'm just sayin. I hope that works out for you, but let me know if there is anything I can do.

Noise, I do read this forum, especially when I get notifications about it left and right. Threads are kept up until their usefulness has worn out, and I feel all the parties have been able to speak their side. You would have closed it earlier... but then again you are not a mod.
