It occurred to me that some Wam producers incorporate a lot of 'porn' in their productions. By that, I mean crotch activity, whether it's self-touching, using dildos, or full on sex.

Obviously, there is a market for it, but I am happier with the 'soft porn' where no attention is really given to the crotch area, even if the model is nude, and boobs are seen.

Others are purists who only want to see pied faces or clothed bodies with outfits getting trashed, but little or no skin showing.

So I thought I'd run a little poll to see just what level of porn most of us want to see.

I like a good degree of crotch-focus and bottom focus, but only fully clothed. This is why trouser-filling, shorts-filling, and swimsuit-filling are a large part of what we do here, and we always film our outdoor wetlook scenes so that, when the girls are wearing trousers, you get to see their crotches meet the waterline as they wade in towards the camera. On the Imperatrix Domina store we have plenty of scenes where girls fondle and grope each other's crotches, turning each other on and having fun, but all while still with their (getting very messy) clothes or swimwear on.

I have no interest in nudity, naked people aren't sexually appealing to me (though they may be beautifully asthetic - it's just not sexy to me). But put the same person in clothes I like, and they start to become sexually attractive, even more so if they then get wet or messy. I guess that's pretty close to the definition of pure fetish really!

I've always tended to think of it as "erotica", mainly because I know if I tried to sell fully clothed scenes to people by calling it "porn" there'd be a ton of complaints and angry customers, as most people think porn==nudity. Technically though, correct.

I prefer to see clothes wam, though saying that I do tend to end up naked in most of my scenes at the end but that's usually when we are about to cut it but leave the camera running. Dabbled in some messy sex and blow jobs not really my thing tbh. Wet and messy for me is about having the feeling of clothes wet and messy clinging to you and the look they have shiny with the slop. I tend to bypass pictures of naked wam.

This. There are very few m/f sex in mud videos out there (that I'm aware of, or have been able to find and believe me I've looked). I'd definitely fork over some coin for these.

I'm surprised at how overwhelming the "Full on Messy Sex" vote is going. When I first came onto the UMD, there was little to no nudity, and Rob Blaine was one of the first to cross the line with toplessness. A lot of people felt that 'pure wam' required clothing, and anything with brief to no clothing wasn't 'real wam'.

Today we still have those who are turned on only by messy boots, or heavy raincoats, etc. My own clothing preferences are for thin, clingy clothing that will slide on the body and get fairly transparent when messed up. It can also be removed as the messing progresses. I like if the girl has a thong on, but nudity is ok too, but I'm not into showing too much from the crotch area. So I guess I'm sort of in the middle of the scale.

Nice to read the responses and I'm still surprised at the poll results. Who knew? I suppose producers could use these results to make more of what most people want.

Nudity does nothing for me, I like smart outfits being trashed. The custom Charlotte did for me was perfection, she was fuly clothed all the way through and the tight, sexy office suit with stockings and heels being completely covered were amazing

It still does next to nothing for me to see a naked chick getting messed up. It's all about the sort-of playful humiliation of getting hair/faces/clothes messed up and wet and sticky. The rare nude scenes I'll buy usually feature still the hair or face getting covered well. I guess I don't mind if a scene ends nude but if it starts nude it's like... what's the point? It's like a dunk tank video where the girl is wearing a bathing suit. There's no risk involved.

I don't mind either, but I do prefer the hardcore stuff or at least scantily dressed to nude.

Don't be surprised. Polls like this are good at showing what our average visitors really want, as opposed to the vocal minority.


People have been saying WAM has been getting "more sexual" for 20 years. At this point then, it should be nothing but sex sex sex! But that's not the case. It's still about the same proportion as it's always been. Actual wam sex is extremely rare.

I find it really hard to pick any of the above choices, because it's not like I only like one "level" of "porny-ness." I enjoy the full spectrum of the options above, and some of my favorite videos fall at the fully-clothed end and others on the opposite end of the scale. And of course, plenty of others are at various points in-between these two poles.

I will note that when it comes to the full-on messy sex scenes, I very strongly lean toward the female-on-female variety over the male-female scenes, a distinction your poll doesn't make at all. I know you only had so many entries you could create. But seriously, what is the difference supposed to be between "0 - None, I only like pies in the face" and "1 - None, I prefer outfits only" ?

Would also like to say that your options are all very oriented toward the front side of the female body. I think there's another vital component of the feminine form that really needs to be considered here...

I like to start with at least some clothing, but I prefer most or all of the clothing to be gone by the end. As far as activities, full on messy sex is the least interesting to me, but I'll watch it if I'm into the model. My temperature changes and that's fine

I find this poll sort of useless since you can only pick one of the answers. I wanted to check many of the answers. The one I picked does not reflect that I very much like many of the other options, and I dont not want many of the others.

Thus I feel the results are seriously misleading.

I don't get why this is "trouble." If you're buying/watching a scene for the mess and someone else likes it for the touching or sex... how does that diminish the experience in any way for either of you?!?

If someone is making videos to sell as their income, they need to keep their costs to a minimum, so by adding sex to WAM, or WAM to sex, they're increasing the costs and time and effort involved when there's no evidence to suggest they'll recoup any extra money through sales.

Then there's the problem of how some people who understand how to make good WAM clips don't understand how to make good porn, and vice versa.

I love creating art-core. I like to blur the lines between porn and art. That being said 95% of what I shoot is about what the model wants to show off.
