The 4th Birmingham Splunch will take place on the 5th March 2015 at The Square Peg 115 Corporation Street, Birmingham, West Midlands B4 6PH from 2pm to 7pm. For those still interested in partying on we'll be going for a meal and drinks afterwards, possibly at the Chinese we went to last time.
If you haven't been to a Splunch before don't be nervous. Come along and enjoy a drink or 3 with a friendly bunch of like minded people. I don't intend advertising the Splunch on Fetlife this time so everybody there will be there as they love sploshing. The Splunch is a chance to meet people and have a chat, there won't be any getting messy as such although a fair few people do book rooms for the night and enjoy some messy fun back in their room.
If you intend coming it would be greatly appreciated if you can reply to the post saying if you are interested or definitely coming so we can get an idea of numbers.
How do I get there ?
The Square Peg is in the centre of Birmingham just a short walk from Birmingham New street or Moor Street stations. If you are arriving by coach its just a short walk as well, there are maps from the stations and coach station.
Where to stay ?
There are the usual chains of Hotels in the centre of Birmingham with the Premier Inn, Ibis, Travel Lodge, Holiday Inn etc. With a couple of months notice rooms should still be relatively cheap.
Dinner.
Can you let me know if you would like to come to the meal so we can let the restaurant know how many will be coming.
Gunge
As with most meets I will be selling our gunge at the usual Splunch Special price of 10 for 24 litres of coloured gunge. If you want me to bring gunge for you can you let me know in plenty of time so we can get it made up in the colours you would like. If you can't wait until Birmingham you can just order through Ebay as normal at

Don't be scared to come along, its just a group of people enjoying a drink and a chat. Lots of people have been nervous in the past but once you've been to one you'll end up wanting to come again.

Don't be nervous, we're a really friendly bunch who just enjoy a chat over something to drink and then a meal in the evening. Its a really good day and everybody is very friendly.
Would be good to see you Tilly and DungeonMasterOne.
The number of people varies a bit, the first Birmingham Splunch was the largest number of people ever, but can't remember how many, possibly 50 or so. Most Splunch's usually have at least 20 to 30 people or more. There is a regular Splunch crowd that travel around the country to most Splunch's as well as those local to that area.
Hotel booked and train seat reservations booked cheekily today at work from Edb to New St.......and sacked the Saturday overtime off to meet you guys! ................come on sign up, it's all fun, food and beer
Count me in and put my name on the list (defo list) and defo the fooooood afterwards as only a 5 min walk away on Queensway St. Chad's! like i know where that is lol ................
To anyone who's nervous: One of my models went to a splunch not long ago, entirely off her own bat, and her comment afterwards was "they were a really nice bunch of people, from very diverse backgrounds and ages".
So seriously, don't be worried, these are fun and very sociable gatherings of good people. I was at the famous first Birmingham one, where the late Bill Shipton appeared, and have also been to splunches in Leeds, London, and Bristol - which was particularly lovely and had great cider too!
