Following the wonderful pie thread by JD & Andi the other day, I was curious on Gunge Costs & what you use for respective sessions & why.
For me I prefer using shaving foam as the main component solely as easy to deal with down the drains, I usually use a can or 2 depending on the size & costs £1-2 for the 2 cans. I will then use a variety of options to bulk up and sometimes give a bit of colour but can be mixed success too. It is mainly still bathroom based options from gels & other such things. It's to basically build up a bucket full of a foamy but slimy substance that feels safe to use but also a lot of fun too.
I'm maybe spending say £5 at most to make my own gunge as it were, it may not be the same quality as the proper Gunge used in sessions on here, but I have a lot of fun with it.
MessySupplies MSGunge - usually in "thick" consistency. Gives great coverage and is very reliable. Available in a wide range of colours and easy to use. It's completely food and body safe, (touch wood) has never stained and virtually odourless. It's only £7 a packet if you buy in 10l packs (with tiered discounts for multiple packets) or £50 for 100l (10 pack equivalent) of the same colour -great for filling bathtubs/pools/gungetanks etc.
We purchase MessySupplies gunge (typically in standard or thick) and use that if Mrs is looking for a good round of messy sex.
We also use cake batter Slime (most often with instant oatmeal added in for chunkiness). This is more cost effective than the gunge but is a bit more involved to prep and mix it.
Typically, we bag up all/most of our mess and dispose of it in our trash. Mrs will film solo stuff in the bathroom/bathtub. But most often, we film scenes elsewhere in our home and then clean up in the bathroom
Another vote for MS gunge. MS also have a DIY section- you can buy bulk packs of MethlyCellulouse (the active ingredient) to mix with your regular gunge and stretch your £s further.
Xantham gum is also great and super cheap- about half the cost per 10L pack
MS Clayzee colours are fantastic- feels amazing. Currently £4.50/pack too but delivery will likely cost more since it's bags of heavy clay powder.
Slube//Slime Baff is pretty fun too- very slippery.
(MS also has regular sales, and a points system you can exchange for vouchers. You can earn points by logging in every day too)
I use MessyPup Gunge. It costs £5.99 for the thick gunge or £6.99 for extra thick. Each one comes individually packed and in a good range of colours. Each bag makes 10L of gunge at the stated thickness. Every time you have accumulatively spent £120 you can get a free bag of thick gunge on your next order or £140 for a extra thick. I'm pretty sure they also offer a 15% discount if you purchase over 50 bags in one order.
hope said: DIY cake batter is my favorite. I make it from a mixture of bulk cake flour + sugar. 100lb is around $40 so it lasts for a while
Cleanup, what's on me just goes down the drain when I'm in the shower. The rest goes outside in the grass.
The classic issue with flour is that it clumps and sticks to hair etc. How do you avoid that?
That's regular flour - the issue with the lumps and stickiness is the gluten and cake flour has far less of it.
When I was at the restaurant supply store I compared ingredients on the cake flour bag with boxed mix and the only difference was the boxed kind comes with sugar measured out and added in already. In the end this is what you get.

Another +1 for ms gunge, good value for money and an excellent product. Definitely worth the money for a great messy session.

Thanks for that - will experiment with this. I have read that mixing some cooking oil in helps too.
I've used cake batter mixed with water & sunflower oil best oil not to stain & wash out as it doesn't stain on clean up & makes a nice shiny reflection on anything. Non dairy cool whip is better than dairy too along with shaving cream. You can add a small amount of Dawn dishwashing detergent or Borax to the mix helps prevent permanent staining by already breaking up the food substance before even gungeing. Wanted to ask anyone's opinion if one should use cake frosting or something else to color the cake batter that won't end up permanently staining the clothes on cleaning up ?
For a pie session, I normally use shaving foam with either custard or poster paint. The poster paint is cheap enough in a supermarket and is good for adding colour. As it is made for kids, it's easy to wash away too.
For gunge sessions, I use either MS Gunge or Messy Pup Gunge. I find Messy Pup easier to deal with tbh and as it's run by kinksters for kinksters, I feel more confident about packaging and I also find them more reasonable for delivery outside of the UK. Any gunge used has to be easy to wash off and away and both suppliers tick the box on this. Would be great if Messy Pup started doing glass effect though.
Usually cake mix. You get the most out of that. You can find boxes for $1.00 at most places, or 0.88 cents at Walmart (used to be). Most I've used was 8 boxes at a time.
Also love chocolate syrup, that's a bit more pricey though. Now you're looking at at least 2 dollars for a 24 oz bottle. Used to be able to be able to get the huge jug at Walmart for 7 bucks or something, I think it's up to 12 dollars now. Always loved the consistency of chocolate syrup.
I'd love to try proper gunge from messy supplies, but I'm just like "I don't want to wait, I can just go to the store and get cake mix..." Also I don't know which one to get, and have a feeling I'd mess up mixing it or something. I've got the cake batter mixing down pretty good.
Aside from that I've used a mixture of applesauce and vanilla and tapioca pudding cups. That was more pricey too, but it was something different to try, and I wanted to. Nice consistency, but more cost effective to get cake mix.
I bought some molasses to try out next week, got 4 16 oz bottles. That's pretty pricey too, looking at $10 for that...but it's like a thicker goopier chocolate syrup consistency, so I think It'll be nice. Would love to get a huge jug of it, but I saw some horror stories on Amazon of the jugs arriving busted and leaking. I'm good with that.

I wouldn't use food coloring that can stain but cake frosting can to especially the color red If you do use frosting and are worried about staining I'd stick with white but it also depends on the kind of frosting your using
Frosting can make a great slime especially with cake Mix gunge to slime and vice versa

It does, I'm nearing the end of a 4.5 gallon jug of soybean oil and need to get more before Saturday. When mixing the equivelant of 10 boxes of cake mix
(6lb cake flour + 3lb 6oz sugar) I'll add 5 cups of oil, 1.5 quarts of water, and go from there while mixing. That's usually good for about 2.5 gallons of cake batter.

I tried molasses before its fun to play with as it has a unique texture, but word of warning it stings if it gets in your eyes. And you'll smell like a gingerbread cookie for a little while lol

Invest in a cheap 10 or 20 dollar handheld blender and mix it throughly it works for me also add in 4 to 6 tablespoons of cooking oil to preference also mix in confectioners/powdered sugar in while you mix it up before adding the water and oil I have found that works even stretching out cake mix with cake flour or regular flour you just have to mix it really thorughly in the bucket thoroughly until nothing is dry and add water by eye

Yours looks great - can you share a specific recipe in terms of proportions?
My favorite is a recipe brought over from the old country by my Great-Great-Great Grandmother, and passed down through generations. If you promise not to pass it on to anyone, I'll tell you The recipe. Supplies needed are as follows
1 clean 5 Gallon bucket 1 electric drill with a paint mixing attachment (or hand drill if trying to be historically accurate like in the old days or if you are Amish 1 large long stirring spoon 3 large round containers of instant oatmeal 3 boxes of chocolate cake mix (or your favorite flavor), or brownie mix About 2-4 cups vegetable or suitable oil About 2-3 gallons of very hot or boiling water Food coloring if you want a specific color if using white cake mix
Add the veg. oil to the bucket, then poor in the oatmeal, and still well until all the oatmeal is well coated. Give it a few minutes to soak in, then pour in the oatmeal. Use the drill to blend very thoroughly. Use the soon to make sure the bottom edge of the bucket doesn't keep any dry oatmeal stuck there, then plenty of blending again. WARNINGIT WILL BE VERY HOT. Let it cool down depending on the temperature desired. This may take a few hours to only one hour depending on how many times you use the drill to stir it al up. The mir you mix, the quicker it will cool down. Then add 2-3 boxes of cake batter depending on the consistency, flavor, or color you are looking for. Blend in with the drill the food coloring if needed (now would be a good time to test the temperature with a thermometer just to be safe, and if cool enough, dip in a finger to test for color staining of the skin if using food coloring. I've heard tempra paint doesn't stain, but I've never never tried it. Again, check for temperature, I don't know if insurance covers burnt genitalia. You can now add any more mix if too wet, or water I'd to dry of thick. This makes a full 5 gallons of extra smooth, extra creamy, even a tasty treat to lick off of your partner after applied with loving care, or even with lust. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and smelling lovely after easily washing off with just warm water and soap in the shower, washes easily out of hair, (looks and feels amazing on hair) does not leave any lumps or clumps, and washes easily from the tub or shower, safe on drains and showers. Washes easily from sheets and cloths, again, check for staining here first. It's vegan approved unless adding spam, (maybe this is your thing, I am not here to judge) and doesn't harm animals unless you add sheep, (again, I'm not here to judge.) 15-20 gallons will fill up a large inflatable pool with plenty to go around in all the right places. Just refill the buckets to empty out the pool when done playing and safely dispose of properly, and rinse out the pool quite easily, it works great on a tarp, or if you are into trying this, put plastic under the sheets, put the sheets back on the bed, and play in the bed, (again, check for staining) and if you want to be extra kinky, even sleep in it after all the mutual orgasms have done you in, with the sheets and a blanket over you to keep warm. Then add a bit of warm water when you wake up as it will be cold and thickened, and start all over in the morning. This is how my Great-Great-Great Grandmother landed my Great-Great-Great Grandfather in the old country of Prussia back in the late 1700's. So, when you try this, drop me a message to tell me how you enjoyed this, but rememberdon't tell anyone.
Nah said:Yours looks great - can you share a specific recipe in terms of proportions?
10 box equivalent: 6lb cake flour 3lb 6oz sugar 5 cups of oil (exact type has not mattered) 1.5 quarts of water
This will be too thick, so continue to slowly add water and oil to reach desired consistency. It's easy to thin things out but much harder to thicken.
I haven't had enough coffee to do the math. It's roughly 2:1 cake flour to sugar but not quite. For consistency's sake I recommend weighing ingredients. Flour will pack down so it's hard to use volume (cups / ml) to measure out. I use an old baby scale to do it.

A little bit of an old post but cake batter is one of my favorite things to get messy with. I'm curious where you source your bulk cake flour from at that price range? I tend to just buy boxed mixes and use those for my fun.
