Noticed this act on BGT tonight. She was an opera singer that had flown over from the US. She started the act and was not bad. Then the next minute Two other people appeared and started spraying paint, and gunk and foam all over the singer while she carried on singing. https://youtu.be/tTYfaLUN4vc
Strangely, she's not the first female opera singer to do this kind of an act on TV. There was another woman with a similar, but somewhat more elaborate, act a few years ago who did the her routine on, I think, the new Gong Show. The routine involved her singing opera while eating cake and twisting her body into pretzel-like contortions, and ended with her lowering her face (her body suspended above her head) into a big creamy cake while still singing. (She also did a scaled down version of the same act, which looked like a behind-the-scenes rehearsal of it, on some other show. I've included a few vidcaps from that version here too.)
The dancer mentioned by Gurph Morlicks above is Sarah Llewellyn, who has been on BGT several times in the past (e.g. in 2018), but the performances were much less messy. The one from The Gong Show (S1 E2 from 2017) was the messiest.
There were some clips of a show from somewhere in eastern Europe called 'sing if you can' where the contestants had to keep on singing on whilst being pelted with mess in some of the rounds.

Don't know if it's the same show., but there was one with same name in the UK. It had celebrities on it singing, and being distracted. There was some mess, gunge, feather etc. However the gunge was very, watery, and coverage was poor, sometimes only the persons feet.
I can get links for the first 3 episodes. But I haven't put them on, as (in my opinion) there that poor.
