Since I started using Bing Image Creator (BIC), all of the images I've felt worth sharing from it have been posted in the "a place to post ai content" thread (https://umd.net/groups/a-place-to-post-ai-content). All of those images have been of women wearing Victorian-style dresses. This is partly because I love how the Victorian dresses look when wet and/or muddy and partly because BIC's over-zealous blocking algorithms are more obliging when you specify some kind of vintage clothing.
However, I've also been working to try to put together an AI image collection featuring more contemporary clothing (just shirts, skirts and dresses at the moment as per my ethos). The frequent blocks and huge periods of the day where the lead-time for image generation makes BIC unusable mean it's been a frustrating process, but I'm now ready to share what I regard to be the best images of those I've generated so far.
Those of you who have been viewing the images I've been sharing since June that I've been generating on SeaArt (Stable Diffusion 1.5) will probably agree with me that the BIC images are much better quality from a photorealism perspective. Not only that, but BIC readily understands colours, patterns styles (e.g. skirt lengths), locations and scenarios in prompts whereas almost all of those things are a complete lottery on SeaArt. If BIC didn't block so much and was actually usuable for most of the day then I'd switch to using it entirely but, as it is, I'll continue with both BIC and SeaArt.
I'll be adding to this thread quite regularly when I have more contemporary clothing from BIC to share so, if you find what's in this first selection to be enjoyable, please follow me and/or this thread because you won't otherwise be aware of updates that I make to it as the thread won't be bumped to the top in the AI Group if no-one adds posts to it except me.
Anyway, here's the first selection of images which I hope you'll enjoy
As I mentioned in another thread, my access to Bing was unjustly suspended indefinitely a few days ago. It allows you to submit an appeal, which I did but I haven't had any response as yet.
What I was doing at the time was trying to produce colour and design variations on the images below, so it was all completely mild stuff except in the "mind" of the blocking algorithm. To say that I'm peeved about it is an understatement.
I thought I might as well share the images I was producing at the time, because I don't know if/when I'll be able to produce any more.
As I've been banned from using Bing Image Creator for over 3 weeks now, I've switched to the Image Creator at Microsoft Design, which also uses Dall-E. Although it blocks generations frequently, it doesn't appear to ban users. It's ironic how they behave differently given that they're both Microsoft!
Anyway, here's my first selection of images (all wetlook only) from Microsoft Design Image Creator. I found that I could generate images of tiered denim maxi skirts, so got a bit carried away with that as I've been unable to produce them on SeaArt! Images of the type of dresses I want is proving difficult as virtually everything is being blocked, but there are a handful, including one that I think is spectacular! There are also a few wet jeans pics, which are the first I've done using BIC/MDIC.
As I typically don't get many likes for my images, I don't get much of a feel for how many people enjoy them, so I tend to conclude that only a few do. I hope those who view these images enjoy them
