The pool shimmered under the sun, looking far too tempting to resist. I smoothed down my jacket, straightened my tie, and took a daring step closer. My loafers squeaked softly on the tiles as I leaned over the edge, the water winking back at me.

I dipped one foot in. Instantly, the cool water soaked through my sock, filling the loafer until it squished. I gasped, half in shock, half in delight. Then I stepped deeper. My skirt darkened as the fabric clung tight, the chill rushing higher with every move.

By the time the water reached my waist, my shirt and tie were dripping, sticking to me as the weight of my jacket pulled heavily across my shoulders. I laughed out loud, the thrill of each layer soaking through sending a shiver down my spine.

Finally, I plunged all the way under. Bubbles streamed past as my whole outfit surrendered to the water--jacket heavy, tie floating free, socks and loafers sloshing with every step. When I surfaced, I was grinning, every piece of clothing dripping, clinging, and utterly soaked.
