Dangerous Substances
A number of substances are dangerous and should not be used, this includes but isn't limited to some of the following which can cause burns or serious damage to soft tissue such as the eyes, mouth, throat and genitals.

All products will have an associated safety data sheet, however it may be necessary to contact the supplier in order to obtain this. This is an important piece of documentation and can be used to identify any potential risks as well as how the product should be disposed of.

Glues and Solvents
Glues like PVA are often used as an ingredient in online slime recipes, however a number of glues are designed purely with industrial use in mind.

Glues, including cyanoacrylates (superglue), and their counterpart solvents like acetone can cause irritation to the skin leading to blistering and peeling as well as redness.

Glues are, by their nature, designed to stick things together... there's some things you really, really don't want to be stuck together... including the tip of your urethra, your vagina, your bum or your eye lids.

The fumes produced by some glues can cause dizziness as well as unconsciousness and respiratory distress.

PVA glue is generally considered non toxic and can make slime stringy however most datasheets will describe it as not being safe for "any other purpose" than what it was described for.

If ingested, medical advice should be sought regardless of the glue type.
