I recently bought a Tavares #91 jersey with the intent to wear it to a hockey game. But before I got round to pulling the tags off, I had a sudden urge to destroy it. I completely trashed my pristine white Toronto Maple Leafs jersey with chocolate cake mix, tags included. After my messy fun, I try to wash the chocolate out of the jersey, the jersey is undoubtedly ruined. It will never be white again. Do you think I should try to return the jersey to the store, or put up with wearing a permanently stained jersey at the Leafs game?
