Andrea likes to ride, every day, whatever the weather. So, even though it was the end of a storm, with strong winds and squally showers, she put on her riding boots and chaps and set off. She often wears waterproof jodhpurs, but on this occasion she had lightweight quick-drying jods on because although it was wet it was also quite warm. The chaps and boots kept her legs and feet dry, but by the time she'd finished in the school, the top half of her jods was soaked and her knickers were stuck to her bum. As she put her horse into the field she noticed a large area of flooding in the hollow. Given that she was already quite wet, she grabbed a spade and set off to dig out the blockage in the ditch.
