I say that my final guest is of course a regular beauty pageant contestant who has been a finalist in Miss Russia and a winner of Miss Russian radio. And her name is Ekaterina G. I say we have some pictures of Katya competing, in Miss Russia, wining Miss Russia radio, and her first round out fit for Miss Dessert Cooking.

So please give a big welcome to Katya here to share her experience of this glamorous but competitive world. Katya walks onto the stage in a sexy off the shoulder white satin dress, silver high heels.The crowd do indeed give Katya a very warm round of applause as she walks over to greet me with a kiss to each cheek giving everyone a chance to appreciate her looks. I wait for the applause to die down and invite Katya to take a seat on the sofa. Katya gracefully sits crossing her legs and smiling warmly.

I start by thanking Katya for coming on to the show and spending some time with us. Katya says she is really happy to be here and it all works really well for her as she is going on to another live interview in the theatre just after this. I say how good it is she could fit us in with a hint of irritation.

I ask Katya how many pageants she has been in. Katya rolls her eyes trying to come up with a number and answers that its at least twenty now. I say that this is really impressive and ask her for her biggest win. Katya says that while she has won some smaller pageants she still thinks getting to the last ten in Miss Russia was her biggest achievement as this is a really tough competition. I agree that this must be a tough one indeed. I ask Katya if she knows my two earlier guests and Katya says of course she knows both of them, very professional people. In particular she has worked with Yulia several times on the smaller pageants and the bigger ones. Katya blushes a bit here and admits she really enjoyed me pieing Yulia, she had not seen Yulia get messed by her own food ever! It was very funny! I laugh and admit I did enjoy it.

I ask if the smaller competitions are more fun and friendly. Katya thinks and says some are but some can be very competitive too. I ask which has been her toughest competition and why. Katya says the last one of her intro pictures from Miss Dessert Cooking was a tough contest as the idea was to look as glamorous and beautiful as possible while cooking desserts and this is already difficult but here particularly as the other contestants were trying to sabotage each other in an unprofessional way and the organizers were letting them get away with it! Very unprofessional and Katya says she would not have entered if she knew about this beforehand. There are a few giggles from the audience as some realize Katya has not really researched 'Chat with Ira' before coming on it. I like the sound of Katya's misadventures at this pageant and ask what the contest consisted of. Just one round of cooking?

Katya says no! Nowhere near that simple there was the housewife outfit to make a cake. The swimsuit round to make pudding and the ballgown round where four different pies have to be prepared. I express my admiration for her getting through this, I say I assume our photo is her first round outfit? Katya says yes and it was there things had started to go wrong, other girls had been in the contest before and knew the score but Katya did not! I am enjoying this now and ask what happened?

Katya says she was completely unguarded! She was halfway through her cake making, when one of the other girls having got above her amongst the stage lights emptied a bucket of strawberry cake batter over Katya! Scandalous! I am doing my best not too laugh, picturing the effect on Katya in her lemon dress, something the audience is already doing.
