Ophelia H. Flowers debuts in this dramatic tale, the scene starting with her feet already stuck what appears to be just a beach, up to her ankles. She tries to jerk them out, but it makes it worse, and she starts to slowly sink down. She struggles and twists, and the quicksand slowly draws her in past her knees, her thighs, and up to her waist. Her yellow outfit is permanently etched with the sticky brown sand as she tries to crawl out. As she sinks up to her chest she looks straight at you, and insists on her rescue! After a fadeout, she manages to extricate herself from the sloppy, sticky, brown sands. A marvelous performance!
