My latest swamp session: A few weeks ago, I went back to my favorite muck spot to play like a pig. Clad in my traditional briefs, long socks, and shirt (tucked in though), I set up my tripod and walked up to my diving log. I surveyed the area for a second, and plunged right in, my head and shoulders penetrating deep into the brown swampy mud. After what seemed like forever, I lifted my head up, stood up, and desperately tried to rub the mud off my eyelids, struggling for several seconds. I clambered back up onto the log, took a deep breath, and dove right back in. I proceeded to fall down on my back, enjoying the clumps of muck on my head and covering every pore of my body, making me look like a big brown blob.
