So we're off to the airport, on our way to celebrate two decades online with some of you. Whoever's coming, we'll see you there. Whoever's not, it's still a party here, too!

I have to thank everyone for allowing me to do this for so long. This is all I do and it's beyond a dream job in every way possible. Though I rarely break the surface long enough to be part of many discussions, know that I appreciate those of you who produce the content, the conversations, and the positive energy that really makes this all tick.

Socially, this whole site has been a kind of laissez faire experiment since around 2001, and I have learned a lot. I feel like you've taught me two lifetimes' worth of insight into how people really work, and work together. Whether they know it or not, everybody from the most seasoned producer to the newest lurker plays an integral part, and everybody needs each other. Left to your own devices (with light moderation), you really do cooperate together. Despite me, you all pull this site in a generally positive direction, and you always have. You really live the ideal that "acceptance is the new tolerance." This is the most important thing I've learned in the past 20 years and I think I'll blog about that soon.

I had no idea when I skipped classes in 1998 to build the "Ultimate Messy Links List" that it would turn into a lifelong journey for me. But you all made that happen. I am still following your lead, and the journey is nowhere near over.

I regrettably will not be there but I definitely have to extend a HUGE thanks!! This site and community have opened up avenues galore for my sex life, my artistic life, and new aspects that came together to connect the other familiar and expanded aspects of my life to make me who I am. I love all of that and you are part of that which I love so thanks a ton!! I'm sure I'm not the only one but for the last 20 years you have been on the ride with me of expanding and exploring and teaching and it has been great. To be a venue for exploration and mentorship is truly wonderful.

Man, I will see you guys on Wednesday! I get in early around 8 AM and will probably take a nap until dinner time . Then it's game on. Thanks for the reminder about the ear protection! I don't want anyone having to shovel my ass up off the ground because of my jacked super sonic ears.
