As always, a big thank you to you all for taking the time to comment. When you put up threads with free promo pics, it's always a little soul destroying when no-one comments, so just to say I do appreciate you all taking the time.

Jessie and Cherry are definitely on good form here.

I'd like to second The Rev here, if you like something a producer promotes, or even just have a funny thought about it, please comment on the thread (not just on individual pics), it really does make a world of difference.

A question about this scene, what's the camera work like? I did buy some of Jessie's scenes way back in the day when she used to run her store herself. She was always brilliant but unfortunately the videos were shot by random guys and in some cases the result was unwatchable because of abysmal camera work. I have one where she's in black disco pants and wellies and filling the pants with raw eggs, which should have been amazing, but the camera guy zooms in and then jerks the camera up and down from waist to feet and back again multiple times - I can't actually watch it without getting seasick. That's kind of put me off buying any more of her vintage stuff since. Possibly worth adding a link about the filming work quality to each description?

Must admit am very tempted by this one, just as long as its watchable.

Jessie certainly did some great scenes.

These things (camera angles etc) can be quite subjective so I don't want to be too assertive, but for me the camera work is absolutely fine in this one. It's done hand-held and moving, but the camera seems to be in the right place at the right time and captures the messy action.

I always try and call out any significant flaws I know of in a scene, but beyond that because so many groups of people are focussed on different interests, and because I release so many scenes as it's my livelihood, and because (due to a number of reasons) my time is so limited, I sadly can't cover everything in terms of the camera angles or other factors. There are so many different variables that people are concerned about, so we can't win them all . But I try and put plenty of preview pics in and thankfully that and the descriptions and calling out any major flaws (thankfully rare) seems to work well for me.

I would say this...if you buy it and feel it's unwatchable, just message me and I will ask Messmaster to refund you your $3.99 no questions asked.

Ta for replying, and agree things like camera angles are entirely subjective and best judged by the preview shots. But that's not what I'm meaning, in the scene I'm remembering the camera jerks up and down violently, multiple times while zoomed in - like I said, try and watch it and you end up feeling seasick from the extreme motion. It's very obvious, whoever shot it had clearly never used a video camera before. So I'm guessing that scene probably isn't in your archive, and this one has more reasonable filming.

Will add this one to the future purchase list, and at four dollars don't worry about refunds - that's less than the price of a pint of decent cider in a pub these days.

PS: Thanks for getting the name right. The number of people who shorten it to "Dungeon Master" - ARRRGHHHHH!!!!!! Even tried PMing people to ask them to stop doing that but worried it comes over petulant. So appreciated for getting it right!

I appreciate what you say re the money. I will leave the offer on the table anyway. I appreciate every customer who buys from me and supports me, and I think, given that many people don't choose to pay for content, the least I can do is support those who do and try and make them feel safe about buying from me.

As for your name, I did get it wrong once (for which I rightly apologised, and felt awful) so I really do try and get it right now .

I work on live streams as a moderator on other sites and even camers (models) with just a PC or Laptop some times even just being in the right posistion is hard at the best of times working with focus only just with camera built in or webcam. For the most part even just a hand held cam is difficult to hold still for long periods and even then some times if the camera person is not in the right position can tilt or be completely out of focus. Even with stand and a fixed cam makes it alot easier its still depending on focial point be in focus on the subject. This is why on movie sets the have heaps of camera's and takes for this exact reason. But for wam and splosh its one take and one take only - not - ".... oh I' make a mistake - can we cut and do another take ..."

Interesting debate about comments on pics. I was debating this with the Rev recently. I only usually like to comment if I am buying the scene as for me I always felt it was worse to leave a comment but not buy it. If I like what a producer is doing then I should put my money where my mouth is (though equally I can't afford all the scenes I like!).

However I would comment more if I included pics that I liked the look of, and maybe just by interacting that encourages others to view the post?

What are your thoughts Rev / DungeonMasterOne?

Truthfully, I always love the comments. It just shows that someone is enjoying the free wam pics and that, even if they can't afford to buy the scene, they enjoy it.

Obviously as this is my livelihood, buying the scene beats a comment every time. But a comment and no sale, beats no comment and no sale for me. As you say, it can draw the scene to the attention of someone who may have missed it, and even if it doesn't, it just shows stuff is appreciated.

Thank you for all your comments and purchases EG. You are a star. But yes, my take is I love it when people comment on the pics or on the thread.

Sorry for slightly delayed reply, was shooting mud scenes with Fidelity and Miss Abigail over the weekend.

Comments are always good and always welcome. Every fresh[1] comment bumps the thread back to the top of the forum increasing its visibility and so is a massive help to the producer in getting the word out. So people only get to visit UMD at weekends, others only during the week or on specific days, so the longer a thread is visible the better from a marketing POV. The vast majority of comments aren't from purchasers but all are very welcome and much appreciated for the extra marketing they provide.

Also, comments also allow the producer to respond, especially comments that ask questions or discuss details of the scene - which gives another bump. The way I usually do things is to make a promo post, then wait 24 hours to enable people to reply, then reply to all the comments in a single post (if you know what you're doing with copy/paste you can build a quoted reply to multiple comments and answer each one below its quoted text). And it's always great to be able to provide more information and interact with other UMD members. And who doesn't like talking about their own work?

If I see a scene I really like, or even one that doesn't appeal to me but which has obvious merit in how it's been done, I'll often make a comment purely to enable the producer to respond, as a way of helping them. I did that a few months back on a Mostwam scene - back in the day I was somewhat critical of some of their output - so when they recently released one that hit every single button dead on perfectly, I wrote a very detailed review post detailing how absolutely brilliant that one was, illustrated with the scene's own promo images. I'm a firm believer that what helps one of us helps all, and credit where it's due, even if it's with a competitor.

Finally, while comments on pics are nice and good for discussing specific detail, comments on the actual thread are better. Pic comments don't bump threads, thread comments do. So where possible always reply to the thread, the producer will love you for it.

[1] "Fresh" comment - not by the same user as the previous one. There's an anti-artificial-bump filter that prevents people spamming by bumping their own posts - but replying to comments and having genuine conversations - like this thread - is allowed.

There is so much material out there that it's impossible to like it all. However I will now endeavour to comment where I do see something I like, regardless as to whether I plan to purchase that scene or not.
