Hello chums!
AAAAAH NOT LONG TO GO NOW I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Ahem. Anyway. Here's some important info for the day - PLEASE READ THIS if you are coming along over the weekend so you know what to expect.
(I did email most of this out last weekend but have been told it got caught in some people's spamboxes so I'll resend and am posting here for the best chances of everyone actually seeing it, lol.)


One thing to note: tickets are NOT available on the door, you must purchase them before you arrive! There are now less than ten tickets remaining



SCHEDULE:

Saturday, 4pm: Pies & Pints - Casual, social meet-up at The Masque Haunt pub in Barbican. All are welcome! We'll be there til around 9pm (gotta get our beauty sleep after all).

Sunday, 12pm: Arrive at The Whirled Cinema, 259-260 Hardess Street, Loughborough Junction, London SE24 0HN. Don't worry about showing us your ticket or printing it out; just give us the name you gave on the ticket.

12:15pm: WAM film screenings begin! Films to be screened will be announced tomorrow.

3pm: Awards Ceremony - LIVESTREAM will be posted on Twitter @MesstivalUK and is free for all to log in, watch, and comment with your congratulations!

4pm: Afterparty! We'll be heading to The Sun Of Camberwell where I've booked us a private room to mingle, have a drink, take selfies, and compare awards.

Dress code: Dress to impress, this is an awards show after all! Red carpet/smart/suits/fancy dresses/etc - t-shirts are only acceptable if you bought them from the Messtival merch store



Usual "Pies and Pints" guidelines (https://umd.net/blogs/i/pies-and-pints-munch-guidelines) and normal social etiquette applies. While some films we're showing are of an adult nature and we appreciate it may get you a little hot under the collar, this isn't a play event. Anyone caught playing pocket billiards will be immediately ejected, banned from future events, and absolutely roasted on Twitter & UMD

Please also note that use of phones/cameras by guests will be prohibited while films are being shown - we will have a wonderful photographer onsite who'll be happy to snap shots of you with your fave models!
