Yes, please be careful, guys. Unfortunately a lot of men on here are vulnerable to falling for this sort of thing. I see so many males posting in Personals, asking for ladies to come and gunge them. Not going to happen! If you get any replies, they'll be from a fella.

No problem with AI profile pics, big problem with people pretending that the AI profile pic is them. With the fake looking lime shower gel and yogurt that was "really cold!", and the black bar over the eyes that "did little to hide your identity". Even bigger problem when that person is trying to a solicit a meet up via the personals forum. At least you didn't get away with actually scamming anyone, hopefully. Apart from maybe whoever Arron P is.

Genuine people don't tend to make a big post announcing themselves to the forum. Genuine people tend to have been into this since childhood. Genuine people don't tend to see someone who's just broken an arm from slipping in mess and think "wow, that looks like fun!". People don't tend to tell a healthcare professional who's treating their girlfriend's broken arm about a fetish website. Genuine people don't tend to mention their "flatmate Sammy", who's also a nurse, in their introduction post. Genuine people don't tend to tell everyone their place of work in their first post. Genuine people don't immediately try to meet a stranger to get them messy, they'll speak to someone they already know after months or even years of deliberation. Genuine people don't write teasing posts about how many DMs they've got from horny guys. Genuine people don't try to mislead others with AI photos. Genuine people don't delete their posts for no reason. Genuine people don't act how you've been acting.

It's indeed sad to see. These guys are flat out lied to by others in the community who falsely state that "a lot" of girls also have this fetish and are totally down to meet up. As you stated, when someone replies he's gonna be led to believe she's hot and 22. Of course, she's fallen on hard time and would love to meet up and only needs him to send her $225 to fix her car.

ABSOLUTELY!!! I think of this often too. Especially on the heels of the Kelsey Roses situation, where the person used had passed away. It was all very disturbing. I couldn't imagine how mortified I'd be if I found someone using photos of me on a fetish site claiming that the photos were the user.

Jodie was an unusual case where the photos were a bit unusual but believable. I saw a bunch of her posts get removed because they violated the rules about offering customs or sessions (if I can remember correctly). Not all scammers are fake profiles. This is why the approval process for customs and rule against offering sessions exist.

I think it is also important to not ask new members for customs just because they seemed interested in make videos. If they are serious about making customs, wait until they are approved.

It's very important to note that a lot of scammers are very real. In my community it's a lot of boyfriend/girlfriend scams where it's the boyfriend running the profile, reaching out to try to get deposits, custom money but anytime someone demands proof, his girlfriend will send a video or even hop on video chat to discuss all the details. Once the money is sent, boom, they're blocked. Rinse and repeat until their profile gets burned.

We try our best to get the word out to never send a dime to any of these Twitter/IG, etc..accounts and only pay professional established fetish models or studios. They don't listen.

Fetish models are safe. What most guys really goon over is a regular vanilla girl on IG talking about how slime turns her on and how she masturbates just thinking about having a slime partner. That's the trap that's set and the guys fall for it over and over again.

Lucy was jumped on a few months ago for doing a few of the red flag issues we are discussing, did an AI picture and some dubious stories that seemed strange. Nothing too bad or damning but pinged a few people's scammer senses.

I didn't see all the posts as they were deleted so I don't know how nasty it got but she was/is not happy about it and only comes on here when contentious issues pop up to remind people she doesn't come on here or care what people think, and that she is real, still, though has done nothing since the whole debacle, but has met men on other sites, but not telling where.

I can understand her vitriol as, by all accounts was hit pretty hard with the scammer label, I guess she isn't over it, but has done nothing to remove said label, hence the continued commenting.

TLR: person who may or may not be a woman raised some flags and got dicked on by the community. They are still bitter.

If she scammed you or was trying to scam you, use the report link on the message from her in your inbox and it will be reviewed. If they are asking for money within days of joining umd and adding a bunch of friends, report them because they are obviously going to be asking a bunch of people for money as part of their scam.

If your A&E story was true, I'd assume the guy that told you about this site would have seen you on here - where is he? Why hasn't he chimed in? I'm sure he would vouch for you (from an account that's older than yours, obviously), at least to say that story actually happened. Why did you delete that post just after I called you out? If it was true, why not keep that post up? If someone genuinely sent you a DM advising you to post an AI picture based on yourself, share a screenshot of that DM that shows the sent date. If true, it was shitty advice and you were an idiot to follow it, but at least it would prove your story. I would apologise immediately.

It is a little strange how you only ever post on threads about scammers and fake accounts to mention how "we" were mean to you (never that I was mean to you). You never comment on content, or ideas, you never make any other posts, you've never actually commented about the fetish at all other than to ask about buying parts for a gungetank to start an OF (did you get anywhere with that?), and to say that a woman breaking her arm is what got you interested. You didn't even make a post calling me an obnoxious presumptive dickhead who has got everything wrong about you, which is probably what I'd do if someone called me a faker. Who cares if you are real or not? You are here chatting on a site like everyone else. The only time you being real or not matters is when you try to collect money, or try to start a relationship with someone. Participating in threads out in the open is a way to remove some of the red flags people have. When you start asking for money, the person behind the account will have to provide some ID to open a store here, I am assuming. I don't think you need an ID to offer customs. I know that the person behind the account would need to provide an ID in order to post nude pics. This does not mean that MM is verifying the gender, age, location etc of the account. It just means that MM is verifying the person behind the account is an adult.

If you want to post A.I. images of yourself, you need to mark them as synthetic. There is no rule that says you have to post a picture of yourself. There is no rule that says that you have to be the same anything on here as you are in real life. The only issue comes in to play is when you claim to be a real person and you are not that person.

For example, there was a profile here of a woman. That woman had a store. That woman had submitted ID to be allowed to post nude pictures. That woman was a moderator. Turns out, it was not a woman at all. It was her husband pretending to be her/or typing for her depending on what you believe about the story. When it was found out that the woman was not the person behind the account, the store was removed and the account was banned. The husband had submitted his wife's ID, info etc. so that he could run the account as her. This is impersonating and not allowed. Unless you knew to look, you would not know about that situation. We also had a situation where someone who made content on here and was active in the community started a relationship with a man. That man slowly took over the account and would post on her account as well as his own, in some cases having conversations with himself. There were fake contests ran, store rank manipulations etc. This was I think the first time an impersonation had happened and had impacted so many different sections of the site. A lot of new rules came out after the truth was exposed.

I don't think anyone including MM knows about all the cat fishing that happens here. The reason the owner of the site doesn't know is because it is up to us as users to report it. People do not report things like this because in some cases, they feel a sense of shame or humiliation and don't want others to know what happened. The only way to stop these people is to report them. I hope that Reallythickclay reported Jody's account as it appears that "Jody" has scammed them, or attempted to. At the very least Jody's multiple accounts may be against the rules and may lead to all accounts being banned if MM is made aware of the situation.

Well the personals board here needs to go away. Very surprising MM has it here since it's a catfisher's delight. For me, my red flares go up anytime a "girl" joins a fetish community when:

1) She has a "real" profile pic. Outside of fetish models/producers, civilian girls never post a pic of themselves.
2) Immediately tells detailed stories about her love of the fetish. Bonus points if it makes her horny.
3) Tries to build a following, then it's PMs for meet-ups, sessions, hitting guys up for money.

On my board, I have the ability to DM anyone turned off for the first 30 days - solves a lot of catfishing. I also have auto-mod approval set up for their first three posts so I (and the mods) can sus out any suspect behavior. Our pinned message tells all members to report anyone asking for a dime.

Can't agree more. Posting in the personals should require ID verification. I'm actually surprised it's here. A lot of liability. Something goes sideways during a meetup, this place might become a national news story, definitely not the kind of attention MM would want.

Problem is if verification uses photo id, what is stopping me setting up an account using my GFs details and photo ID? There would have to be a video call and I doubt anyone has time to do that for all verifications. Even then, 1 time deal to get a verified account and then a guy takes it over, this happened on Chantele's account.
