Did anyone have a custom with Jody from Manchester in the end? I was going to but the cost was high so wanted some feedback before placing order. That had me labelled as time waster but she had been here before just before Christmas and disappeared. Has this happened again?
Really hoping to proved wrong as she seemed so enthusiastic in advertising sessions
Just to be clear I was looking to place an order not just chat but just wanted some reassurance because of her past disappearance. I think that's reasonable.
She was not on the approved custom producer list as well as breaking the rules about sessions several times, as this is an issue for the billers on UMD.
Without going into personal detail, I'll throw my hat in the ring. I am one of the people she scammed, and I know of at least one other. From the start there was pressure to pay a 'deposit' before actually discussing any details, followed by lots of excuses and stalling. I haven't yet spoken to anyone who actually managed to meet her. Looking back, there were plenty of red flags I missed or chose to take in good faith. In the end, she's disappeared with money from at least two people. Some tiny part of me does suspect she was legitimate at one point, too many weird quirks that a scammer wouldn't go through on, but at the end of the day she chose to go down this route.
I'm lucky I lost what I could afford to lose, and the whole thing has made me come to realize that when money is on the line you need to try and disconnect the fantasy side of the brain.
Sorry to hear about your loss of funds. I had exactly the same after a few messages wanted to book time at her house and 50%.
Another red flag was I remembered her doing the same before Christmas and I recognised the pattern. it was her under a different name as she sent her Kik address and when I said we've spoken before she said what are you on about I've only been here 8 days but the chat history was there in Kik from before Christmas.
Because she had planted the seed of yeah I'll do all that and god I'll hate you for doing this to me etc I foolishly tried to book again but was mocked by her. Veneer of niceness but not. Oh and for good measure she's a probation officer apparently which would add to it for some of you?
I noticed she keeps deleting profiles and coming back. I may be wrong but she appears to be quite young, clearly enjoys WAM and wants to get involved. She then has a change of heart, perhaps on the whole porn thing, and deletes her profile.
I didn't get the feeling she was a scammer but someone who was conflicted and struggling a bit.
No excuse, but maybe she intended to do a custom for you and has bottled it.
Thanks for posting, it's a good reminder for everyone to be careful.
Can confirm. I'm another person she/they (*) took a deposit from and then immediately found an excuse to cancel and never refunded the deposit.
she keeps deleting profiles and coming back
Given the comments above about breaking rules on customs etc, I would assuming she/they is trying to dodge getting banned and then coming back to scam more folks once some time has passed.
(*) = From my interactions with them, I have reasons to believe they may not actually be who they claim to be.
After thinking on it more, I'm convinced there was never a real chance of meeting her for that session. She probably knew that before we even started speaking.
It's speculation at this point, but I do think she holds a negative, maybe even sexist, view of men. Right before deleting her old profile on Thursday, she took the time to send me a pretty sexist message. If you're going to disappear with the money, why even bother sending that? It's also notable that her photo posts involved women, with no evidence of play with men. I'd like to be proven wrong on that, but there's no point overthinking it now.
Unless someone can show otherwise, the evidence points to "Jodie" not being a real domme at all, but a facade for a quick payday. No sessions took place. There are inconsistencies in how she operated, but ultimately she chose to scam.
Part of her last message to me was:
"You sent the money to an account I don't use anymore. I have your details as soon as my app becomes active il send it back"
That's not how Monzo or Starling work.
If her claim were true, the money would have bounced back automatically.
If she does feel any remorse and wants to make things right, she knows how to contact those involved. I'd wager she's read this thread already offline. She knows at any point she can do what is right like she claims she wants to. Time will tell, but I doubt that will happen.
Random thoughts over, and I'm done with the topic myself.
