This is something I've thinking about for quite a while now and hope this becomes as successful as the Birmingham, Bristol and London splunches over the next couple of years. As with organising anything like this people have "other stuff" and "commitments" going on, but hopefully many of you can make it.
MyPieRogative (Maria) will be in town and the country in November and will be attending so if you saw the Superman episode of London who knows what will happen

As seems to be a bit of a tradition Wetherspoons will be the venue as has the cheapest and one of the largest selection of drinks to suit everybody and The Standing Order 62-66 George St, Edinburgh EH2 2LR will be the venue from 2:00 onwards. It's one of the largest wetherspoons in town and is about a 5 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley railway station and bus station for those arriving by public transport. I've had a look at hotels for those wanting to stay over and as always Edinburgh is rather expensive to stay on a Saturday night. If you are thinking about staying over "The tune" out at Haymarket is one of the cheapest or consider staying out of town as there are night buses and trams till very late for the party animals.

It'll just be whoever turns up and wants to socialise on the day. Male, female, young, old, straight, gay or Bi. There's not really any type of demographic as such, but no doubt they'll be somebody to interest you!

Damn! I've just moved to Scotland too, but I'm pretty certain I can't make this. I hope this will be the first of many as I really want to come to a splunch at some point and meet like-minded people. It's so rare to get the chance to talk openly about fetish subjects face to face, and very liberating when you do. Sadly with a young family to think about, it's rare that I get the chance to get away for something like this, in addition to having to work Saturdays!! Hopefully I'll get to the next one if I spot the post with enough notice...

Just because I posted earlier in this thread I thought I ought to just say that I can't make it tomorrow. I've got a 4000 word essay due in Monday which is nowhere near completion- Got spend every hour I have left until the deadline to make it not crap (Good is a standard I can only dream of).
Hopefully you guys have fun and get some company as well!
