I have some more shoots coming up this year (yay!) and for the first time there's the possibility to film the models showering off after each messy clip. I wondered if this was something people liked to see, or if I was wasting my time shooting it.

Exactly this. It's not the showering for me, but the moments immediately after "cut" that are great - when we see the model wiping globs out of her hair, and off her clothes, and talking, unscripted, about how it feels. That's A+ material.

It is something we've been asked for and we're including in most of the films now.
Interesting people like the talking aspect.
I'd add it in if I were you as it doesn't really cost much extra to do it and you can sell it as a separate wetlook film.

I've started including it also. I have had the occasional request, but I got to thinking, it costs me precisely 0 more to include it in a nude shoot, and some people will like it. People don't usually complain because something was included.

There's no additional cost, no additional risk, but the possibility of increased sales.

Honestly, I think I prefer it to the actual clip since it's not the sensation of the mess itself that turns me on, it's the perceived difficulty of cleaning it up later on. Actually getting to see the struggle is definitely something that would help sell me on a clip.

Yes indeed, after I watch a scene, I like to go over to the model's house and lurk outside her bathroom window until she takes a shower!

The messing up is the most important part of any WAM video for me, but a showering off scene at the end is usually a welcome bonus.

KustardKing, it isn't the showering off per se, but the fact when producers include them they usually seem to do a little candid interview with the model saying exactly what they thought about the mess & other fascinating insights that makes me enjoy them as an added bonus... So you could use it as a chance to ask the kind of questions you asked of Lorna & Penny at the end of their respective schoolgirl bondage humiliation scenes

I do like the messing part, but definitely also the washing off esp. when tights get wet and shiny as I love female legs in nylons

Seeing a fully clothed shower esp nylons getting showered off and us shampooing seems to be a very popular aspect in our new films.
The bit we haven't really done yet is talking about the mess and made it either sensual or a bit of banter.

Not showering per se, but it is interesting to see them clean themselves off a bit. Seeing the girls from some of the Silly Films wipe the pie off is mildly interesting to me, but it gets tiresome eventually and I stop watching.

we have been doing it in MOST our recent scenes. We started doing it when dixie came around and a customer said something about doing wash off scenes. we found it was a good way for her and myself to talk about what we just did...there have been times where im like "hold on, i cant open my eye ball, its stuck shut..." lol. and you get to stand there while you are washing mud out of your eyeballs and your butt crack and talk about how much fun you just had, first time doing this, such and such happened and you almost fell...just funny stuff. i did one for after i did this HORRIBLY NASTY savory scene and its funny as hell. lol XD no one wants to see me after a sticky scene though. its usually just me sitting in the shower with a sad look on my face waiting for the sticky to come loose on my skin. lol XD it takes forever! i think its a good idea depending on what you are washing off, if you got the time, what the scene was, this and that throw it in there!

Agree with this. I'm not bothered about the showering itself either - after all, I bought the scene because I wanted to see the model get messy, not clean! - but if those extra minutes, as they frequently seem to, include an interview (which seem to be candid by definition, perhaps because the model's usually naked in the shower at the time and so her answers are similarly "naked" ) then they are worth it. Perhaps these segments aren't quite so valuable if the model is just that, but if she's a true wammer explaining how it all felt then they're pure gold and give an added dimension

agreed moreslime, i know i have gotten downright FILTHY with my explanations of how it felt when doing alone shower scenes and an interview afterward! lol. usually when im with another girl (except for ariel, we are pretty nasty lol) i usually let them talk about how much they eiher wanted to kill the custom customer for having them do all that nasty stuff or how it wasnt that bad and was actually really fun...and im usually washing my ass in the background. LOL!!! i think its nothing but a great idea to add 2 or 3 more minutes to your video and the cool thing about the umd (that some people dont understand or want producers to stay in a "porn rules" box) is that we are a community and everyone wants to get to know everyone more. i know i have watched trailers of other girls on here just bc i wanna catch a glimpse of a little more of who they are...as a person, outside of wamming bc that part, DOES play a part IN their wamming and i think getting to know who you are continuously buying vids from is super fun!! it makes the experience that much more erotic, to me! i love it.

I'd much rather you include footage of the build up and anticipation - the girls chatting backstage, preparing and looking at the mess to be used, stripping off and taking their positions on the set before the mess starts flowing. For me, watching shower footage afterwards should be sexy but I just end up feeling upset that the mess is over and the girls are clean again.

I agree. I often feel it makes the whole thing I've just watched look a bit routine and even facile (like scenes where the model's hair is damp from shooting another scene earlier on) - making it seem all too easy to put right and totally demystifies the genre for me.

I prefer to see a scene conclude with the model(s) at their messiest, leaving a possibly ominous cleanup to the imagination. I'm not particularly into wetlook or even tbh the use of clean water in WAM clips at all.

Lots of others clearly do, so it's obviously worth shooting - but perhaps include it on a separate file.

It actually makes all this more interesting that everyone likes different stuff.

The only time I'd object is if the shower footage is included to pad the running time of the video. Otherwise... in addition to being a WAMmer, I'm also a fan of conventionally naked women, which is often what you get in showers. What's not to like? If I'm specifically in the mood to see mess, I'll just go back and watch the messy bit again.

As a fan of both wet and messy hair I'm always happy to see a shower at the end of a messy scene.

Well, this generated a lot more interest than I was expecting - there must be something in it! Thanks to everyone who replied, some really interesting responses. A couple of them touched on a point that struck me. Most of my clips are around 15 minutes long at present, and I certainly don't want to put any less mess in them! I could add the shower-off to the end of each, but then you have a 25 minute clip, probably approaching 2TB for the 4K version and well over 1TB for the HD version. So I think if I choose to use this material, I'll probably have to put it in as a separate clip or something . . .

It's clear that it's definitely worth filming this material, though, thanks again for commenting and voting!

I wouldn't necessarily buy a clip because it had a 'clean up' scene but as it's relatively inexpensive, easy to film and simple to add, it would add more value to a clip for little effort.

Depends on the model, mess and how it went on.

I like seeing guys wet as much as messy so a shower/clean up scene is a nice bonus. But even more than a shower scene, i like seeing them cleaned up in a more comical fashion (where showering often can be more sexual) - like getting a bucket of water thrown at/dumped on them to "help" clean them off when you're really just doing something else to them. I always like the look of a pied/messy guy wet yet still not fully 100% cleaned like in the following pics.

The Upper Crust Films were always fun because rather than showering, they often ended with the guys being hosed down - partly because that's what was easiest way for he actors to clean up given the circumstances they were shooting under (i think, educated guess vs actual behind the scenes knowledge) but this had a more comical than if they were showering off - being hosed down was something being done to them.
