I normally use multiple layers. Lycra, turtleneck pullover, skibibs, quilted jacket, Maybe snowsuit or raingear. Even if you get wet it keeps you warm.

It's something that might be possible if they wanted me to do it in a big winter coat with lots of layers but unfortunately one wants a swimsuit another wants lingerie and the other one was looking at me doing it in a summer dress
As much as I love doing customs it is only about 3 at best here in the UK at the moment and and the mud will be even cooler than that, so as loyal as I am I'm not looking to get hypothermia I promise I will be doing clay customs as soon as possible so keep your requests coming

There's nothing wrong with doing those customs with a big winter coat on to begin with and then after that gets muddy, and you are warmed up enough from being in that coat, maybe you could take it off and show off the requested outfits from these buyers! Best of both worlds they get their content ASAP, you stay warm (for as long as possible) and we get more winter clothing content! If you end up doing this, be sure to wear a long fur hood puffer coat. I'm requesting for a friend

The fact is when you watch a 20 minute video of me or other models in a scene the shoot takes a hell of a lot longer than that to film as some parts ore often filmed a few times to get it right then there's the fact I often get stuck and can sometimes take 10 minutes to get free something that's normally cut from scenes as it's actually not pleasant.
Then there's the clean up that takes place on site in a river etc as carrying a bath of water 2-3 miles to the location can be a bit too hard most days.

It does occur to me that most don't actually realise the efforts myself and others alike go through to produce a 15-20 minute scene

I used to produce content for some time and the models and I (mostly myself) would have to carry the 2-3+ heavy winter coats + pants, boots, accessories, etc. out of rivers, oceans, lakes, mud pits, etc. at least a half mile away or up a steep hill. I guess I never thought about retaking scenes as I never did customs. I just would give the model an idea of what to do during the shoot and was happy enough with the outcome.

But regardless a puffy winter coat will definitely still keep you warm(er) than not having one even if it's soaked in water, mud, or mess

We have a general rule, if the air temperature is below 21C, we aren't shooting outdoors.

Very occasionally we've shot down to 18 degrees if there was strong hot sunshine and no wind, but we put model comfort ahead of everything else. There have even been days we've driven to the mudbanks, got out, felt the air and wind, got back in the van, driven back to the Hall, and shot dungeon scenes instead.

Mud season up here doesn't usually open till the end of May, and closes again in September. We only need 12 mud (and 12 wetlook) updates a year for Langstonedale, and we can usually shoot 3 mud scenes in one day, so four shoot days provides all the material we need. During the heatwaves of recent years we've regularly shot double what we needed, so the Langstonedale stockpile is now almost as far ahead as the Saturation Hall one.

I have said I'll do colder shoots but Daz won't let me in case I get a cold or worse as he reckons I'm the worst person in the world when I'm not well so refuses to take me

We did indoor mud some years ago, and yeah, a large pool of mud gets very cold and stays that way, no matter how much hot water you mix into it.

Spotted your scene, tempted, but any chance of editing the description to give the timings? Just one line that says something like "Shirts start to come off at X minutes, trousers off at Y minutes" would be enough. I'm only interested in fully clothed. Topless or nude completely kills any appeal for me. So with a scene like that which starts clothed but ends much less so, unless the description tells me how long the clothed section is going to be, I can't judge whether it's value for money from my POV or not. So no timings, no sale.

This is something all producers should take into account. There is no such thing as too much information, in terms of selling a scene. I know UMD says "no need to mention runtime" but that refers to the overall length as UMD extracts and shows that itself. It can't tell in a scene that starts clothed and ends nude, where the changeover happens, so telling us in the text really does help.
