I have been on this forum for 4 years but only posted once to give Liz Ashley a suggestion.
I have recently started a friendship with a couple of YouTubers who told me that they removed content from that platform after getting SEVERAL "creepy" requests, e-mails and texts suggesting content sometimes deviant sexual suggestions. They were having fun making harmless and HILARIOUS videos but are now changing future content due to this feedback.
YouTubers AREN'T WAMers & the members here would do well to remember that if they WERE fetishists, they'd be here SELLING their content. It's said when innocent messy content draws creepy attention from this forum.
I'm leaving the forum effectively IMMEDIATELY! I can't form a friendship with them & continue my presence here...it would be hypocritical to do so. I have admitted to them my membership here and past purchases and they've accepted my past & forgiven it.
I'm NOT judging anyone here because I was a lurker/customer but this has been a wakeup call and I've had a realization that I have formed abnormal sexual interests that I want/need to divest myself of.
Good Luck To All Here But PLEASE leave YouTubers ALONE! They'd be here if they wanted your attentions!
I myself don't use YouTube for anything related to WAM or slapstick, but I'm aware there are those that do.
I keep my adult interests to adult sites. I'm happy to patronize the many fine producers that make content specifically for the audience that I am in.
I find the issue to be very serious as well, that is online sexual harassment. It happens in a lot of places and it is abhorrent. There's a lot of discussion about that behavior on this very site and the mod and admin team here take it seriously.
YouTube is a whole other beast when it comes to how they moderate their content, and complaints about that platform probably are best suited to be over there.
You used the words abnormal to describe the users of this site, and that is out of line, imo.
So... See ya?
Dunno why folks feel like they need to rant on the way out of this site.
I completely agree that YouTubers aren't wammers and should not be harassed. 100%.
However, where you lost me completely is when it was mentioned that you felt like you to had to ask for forgiveness for your fetish; basically claiming you had to absolve yourself from this 'abnormal' sexual interest.
That's absolutely ridiculous.
Because a handful of us are making the rest of us look bad, doesn't mean we're all like the YouTube harassers.
There's NOTHING wrong with having this fetish. Same as people who like feet, who like to be dominated, who like to dress up as dogs, etc, etc and the list goes on.
Besides the harassers, what's wrong is YOU telling an entire community that we're ALL 'abnormal.'
You haven't deleted your profile for a good 20 minutes after you said it was going to be 'deleted effective immediately.' Maybe you wanted to see some responses first? Well here's mine.

Yep.
I will never be ashamed of who I am.
My public Facebook is loaded with pics of me in fetish situations.
Not my job to control what others think or do.
And sign me up for that doggy, feet, domination special please.
There's thousands of people on this site. The overwhelming consensus from people on here is that the types of people you are describing are absolutely not welcome. Why are you seeing the actions of these few people and coming on here and talking all of us down?

This. All of it. Although I'd have thrown in a few F Bombs.
Also, I'm trying to drum up support to get The Wife to do a clown scene.

I thought I had deleted but it apparently didn't process...hopefully SOON!
I'm sorry if I degraded anyone with my opinions. The simple fact is that I saw a couple of people REALLY hurt and shaken up on YouTube and I guess I felt that they deserved to know where I once was so that we could move forward.
Everyone has their own opinions and mine, while misstated, come from a place of changing my mind about WAM. I just don't want it to be an addiction anymore and DEFINITELY not when it's hurting others I respect!
Say what you will because if I do it right, I'll never see the reactions to this....TRYING to delete IMMEDIATELY!
Sorry if I pissed anyone off, just being true to myself and where I am now.

Agree 100%.
Yes, the OP makes a good general point re "If YouTubers were wammers, they'd be here instead of there". Fine. Perhaps they're also not comfortable with liking mess as a fetish, and feel they have to step back. Okay, I'm sorry to hear that and wish them well as they try to figure out a solution; they certainly wouldn't be the first to leave due to those sort of doubts.
But to then imply we're all the sort of inadequates who creep out women on YT with unwanted comments, and that being on UMD at all requires forgiveness because it's so awful, is ridiculous and insulting. As The Man said, that's where the OP lost me.
As a 31 year old virgin, I understand the appeal of those who get messy for fun. Truth is I have suggested UMD to one or two of them, not saying that they need to be C rated about it. The fact is we all FOUND OUT about this place at some point. Some of us just likes to get messy. Others are turned on by it.
I was under the impression UMD is for both sexual and no sexual WaM. This is true, right? Or is all WaM considered sexual on here?
Anyway, obviously this isn't youtube, but either way harassment is harassment no matter how lonely or horny you are. Even if its' sexual, being pestered takes all the fun out of it.
I have no idea specifically what things were said to these people. MAYBE YOU SHOULD SHARE EXACTLY WHAT WAS SAID just so others cannot deny what NOT to say. Maybe what I have said in the past was "too much" and didn't even realize it.
Regardless, flirting with it is obviously a dangerous game. You really have to form a bond in a meeting or a few messages before anything should be implied. It's true for relationships and the same applies to fans.
OP is right that Youtubers shouldn't be getting messages from fetishists, it's weird and I don't see how people don't have enough self-realization to see what they're doing is creepy.
Having said that, the fact that guy is sending messages to Youtubers and getting forgiveness for his fetishises from them and trying to be friends is off the charts fucking creepy.
Yeah, I'm sure you're forming organic friendships with a bunch of YouTubers, and the fact that they happen to get themselves messy in videos has nothing to do with how you found them. Whatever you have to tell yourself to cope with the fact that you're making your fetish the basis of a friendship with someone who has absolutely zero sexual interest in it, bud.
Seriously though, the bit where he's like "I admitted my membership and purchases to them" - imagine approaching *strangers* on youtube with that because you've decided you want to be friends with them. THAT's creepy. I do hope it was an itemised list of purchases and he read out every one, otherwise how can he know they've thoroughly forgiven him?
I take MH issues v seriously, and in the past I've had doubts with myself and all this... but OP comes across more as failed fetish-mining and frustrated with that than anything else.
I'm still trying to figure out why this topic, which just boils down to the fact that we're all uneducated and strangers for him, he only did one thing well, it's bad, move on.
Dude is guilty he jerked it to some folks on youtube that he started talking to. So he deleted his profile, will likely be back as a lurker within a week, and went to go jerk off again...probably.
I've definitely seen some uncomfortable interactions on YouTube, sometimes from people finding obvious fetish material who either didn't want to see it or shouldn't be watching it, and sometimes from fetishists interacting with non-fetish material in uncomfortable ways. But people doing kink stuff on kink sites aren't the problem in either of those cases!

The entire world needs to understand the concept of Initiation of Force, a great phrase that Libertarians have coined, and learn to understand when it is being applied versus when it is not being applied: i.e. a response to an initiation of force. Across ALL individuals.
