For those into WAM scenes with clowns. What we want to know is...are wigs acceptable...or not? I know for me personally, a big part of WAM is seeing hair get messy. So I'm definitely was curious about what everyone else thought. Wigs can be a part of clown attire...but they don't have to be either.
I do not like wigs in messy scenes where they are clown wigs. Part of my thing is also along the lines of destroying things that are expensive. Which is why I like the wedding dresses, formals etc. Real wigs are extremely expensive. Plus all the time that went into making it. All destroyed in a few minutes. Sure, you can wash them and stuff, but can you get all of the stuff out? Can you make it 100% again?
I prefer the wigs but can take it or leave it. I think they just make the person look extra ridiculous. This ties into my humiliation clown kink pretty hard. Same if the clown suit makes them look extra silly. The whole thing should just be bashful and embarrassing to me personally.
Absolutely not. They weigh terrible and don't balance at all. Covers the face, slides, just all round no go. Instead, consider using grease paint on weird ponytails for clown coloring of hair. If you wanna really lean in, do a second video with makeup application, then you can use colorful icing to color your hair and set up the next clip. Just a messy clowns view
Hair getting messy is a big part of my love of slimings too so I voted no. I get that clowns and wigs go hand in hand, but for a clown WAM scene I say put the gals' hair in pigtails and let the slime cascade down. lol
Pie me gently said: These are all valid points, and may sway my preference. It's not really set in stone anyway haha. Um is there a clown visiting ycdtos soon? I hope so.
Not YCDTOS specifically, but it's own stand alone scene yes. We've wanted to do a clown scene for a while, but other (good) things keep getting in the way!
Love clown scenes but have never been a big fan of wigs. Also, some models like Ellie and Violet already have pink or purple dyed hair (sometimes), so it would naturally complement clown makeup.

So first thing is that this question has been asked numerous times (though not often in the context of clowns). The general consensus is about half the people like them if they add to the scene, the other half religiously say no wigs.
I think it's all about the scene at hand. Have you ever seen some of the stuff by Slapstick Babes? He has a clown patreon I've joined for a month to stream here and there. One girl who I think is named Esmeralda but don't have a sub right now to confirm looked AMAZING in her clown wig. I might have a pic or two somewhere if you want to DM me?
Though I've seen plenty of scenes by other producers that use wigs very poorly. So it's all about whether the wig FITS and whether you plan to mess the wig up b/c they don't behave like real hair unless they were made of real hair and you wouldn't want to damage something that expensive.
Personally, I love a good wig on a clown girl. The rainbow wigs are by far my personal fave but other styles (like with Kym/Goldie) can work very well too!
Yes, but it depends--the wig sliding off is always a let down.
Agreed on seeing the hair get messy as part of everything. Buuuuuttt.... also a fan of seeing the wig used as part of the mess, ie loading it with slime/goo/sticky stuff and plopping it on the clown-ee's head as a sort of punishment or part of the gag of humiliating/dressing them up.
It was a rare occurrence on one of the latin american mess shows (chegamas?) but they would load a construction helmet with slime and plop it on the head of a girl for losing a round. Big fan.
No wigs, or big red nose or glasses for clown scenes. It totally ruins a wam scene. Just apply makeup on the face, style the hair silly like crooked pigtails, perhaps spray temp hair color on the hair & destroy the face with pies.
I think traditional clown slapstick, the clown needs to be in a wig;but the wig could be lifted off.so covering both.In non clown slapstick;you don't need a wig,but a wig or hairpiece could be used as before. .

No for me. I'm a big hair guy so I definitely prefer to see real hair get trashed. I could deal with some clown wig if it gets pulled off or falls off in the scene and the model's real hair gets messy.
Depends on a few things for me, if it's a cheap big poofy fro clown wig, fuck no. Kills it for me. If it's a decent colored wig I'm ok with it. As someone that does messy clown content I stick with my real hair but I always have it dyed red.

I'll preface my comment by saying this: I may not be the most qualified to answer since clowns/clowning is not really my thing.
However, I've warmed up to the idea of "cute" clowns or what I would call "clown light" i.e. having minimal clown makeup and attire without going overboard on the big shoes and frizzy wigs and massive red noses. But some fun makeup, colored hair, and cute-but-silly outfits are fun (I'll use MadLoversCosplay as an example as they have done both).
So TLDR is I prefer no wigs, but maybe some hair coloring/highlights and light makeup could work. But I'll admit, I'm not the demographic for this sort of thing.
(I prefer maids, princesses, goth chiccs, cosplay, latex, or any combination of those...)
All this cake, there must be a princess somewhere.
I dont prefer the poofy cheap clown wigs but I have had people that HAVE to have that in their custom.
I did one where i knocked off like 50 bucks if they would let us wear a bob cut, multicolored wig that I thought looked more appealing.
I have done some cosplay where I wore a long blonde wig and one where I wore a long blue wig that were really well fitted and super cute! and I dont mind wearing wigs like that but? I would much rather like? take my own hair, put it in curlers overnight or something, make kinky curls, put them up in pigtails or something and use a colorful spray on my hair. a lot of work but i would prefer it.
or? like i said, a long and fun but more realistic looking wig. I have found the ones with bangs or that are cut with facial framing? look the most realistic and can be really cute!
but? there is a big market for the old school clown look.
This is just what I prefer to do...me personally.
the short little bob cut ones are suuuuuper cute too! its like a halfway mark between the old school curly cap and a long wig. i loved those!
Definitely class myself as being in the bigger group of people who don't really see the appeal of clowns and clown wigs, but if being on this forum has taught me anything, there's an audience for pretty much everything out there.
Whether that audience is big enough to justify making the scene... *shrug*
