I'm sure threads like this crop up over the years and was just curious what was your cheapest & most expensive outfits for a WAM Session and what did you put the outfit through?
For me cheapest was a full trouser suit, smart shirt & heels I got on sale for £15 the shop was getting rid of old stock and couldn't pass on it, the staff all knew I crossdressed so they were fine with me & I was fine with them.
The outfit was actually bought for a formal occasion, where I could crossdress at for a change so I couldn't exactly get messy in it. Once the event had passed it became fair game as it were a friend of mine was looking into people for her portfolio to help with uni, she was inspired to do a Jackson Pollock for one shoot & asked if I was willing. The suit & heels were given a copious amount of paint & my friend got lots of photos into the bargain. Had to bin the outfit & heels after as we got a little too excited with the paint
For expensive outfit, I had a satin floral blue dress came with a cardigan, was recommended a matching bag & heels too set me back a pretty penny. The outfit was a treat but also as I planning sessions for the summer wanted outfits for the occasion. The outfit did get it's share of WAM.
The outfit was used for a session where I was planning material to potentially showcase my WAM to a wider community like here & Splosh for example. I had gunged myself with different colours of gunge, as I was in the bath, gave ample excuses to do shoe & bag filling throughout. I covered myself after with dessert items like custard, yoghurt, sauces & so forth. Ending with a fully clothed shower, that way I felt I was covering a variety of substances and desires. The footage I never got to show as I didn't think at the time there was a market or much interest in crossdressing WAM also I was still relatively young & unsure what direction I wanted to go with WAM & even crossdressing at the time.
Just some food for thought & intrigued to see what others say on this discussion.
It wasn't a session so much as a regular part of the job but my most expensive outfit is probably my wrestling gear ($375)? I moonlight as a (semi-)professional wrestler on weekends and I end up getting messy a lot. Slimed, pied, chokeslammed into a cake, briefly "died" and then was resurrected from a pool of wallpaper paste and yogurt that looked like cum. It's a good, albeit weird, time.
To be honest I can't remember the costs of outfits. None have been desperately expensive. I recall a grey skirt suit with a pencil skirt I picked up in a charity shop for a couple of pounds. This got wrecked during a late evening walk across farmland where cows had been churning up the ground - and it had rained!
The outfit in the pictures I have posted here came from a remainder outlet. I took the dress and jacket into the men's changing room to try out for size. The girl at the checkout didn't bat an eyelid when I paid. I got this outfit for a very special occasion. I had the privilege of being trashed by the immortal Bill Shipton of Splosh fame. Sadly he died not long after our session so I was unable to repeat the experience. Wonderful memories.

The cheap outfit I don't have any photos left from it, I'm not sure if my friend does as she likes to update her portfolio so I'd imagine old stuff is deleted.
For the expensive outfit, I had kept the footage for ages, but just didn't know what to do, not sure where the memory card would be if still got. The outfit I binned years ago, had it's fair share of WAM Sessions.

The session with Bill looked like great fun, would be the kind of thing I'd enjoy dress up for "dinner" only for your Sunday best to be trashed. I suppose some staff don't mind when comes to trying on stuff, sale is a sale.
our cheer uniforms are probably the most expensive items I get Kate messy in. I also enjoy getting some of my expensive suits ruined which are a couple hundred dollars. The more expensive, the more excitement!
Most expensive: wedding dress + petticoat, $58 total from Ali Express
Least expensive: $1 dress on final markdown from a thrift store
There's almost no crossover between things I normally wear and stuff bought for this even though I haven't actually ruined anything. Thrift store stuff comes out cleaner so maybe pies and gallons of vanilla pudding and other things I mix up are secretly the world's best stain removers?
Maybe it will also get rid of the weird smell and wrinkles on the wedding stuff once it gets here.
Most expensive single item was probably a turquoise-blue prom dress. Full length satin with some fancy crystal inlays. Incredibly comfortable and smooth to wear too. I think the original price was £300-350 range?. (picked it up on Ebay for £48)
Most expensive total outfit was dressing up as a bride. Full length wedding dress for £25 (bargain price!), then ~£64 for corset, stockings, knickers, gloves, veil, etc and then £37 for the strap-on boobs.

The cheapest for me are when ppl send me clothes lol
I hope Mewmew doesn't mind me mentioning this:
The cheapest outfit I've sent her that she destroyed was about $150. The two most expensive were $550 and $625. (I don't think I've ever sent her a pair of shoes under $100.)
I enjoy ruining new, nice clothes. That's a big part of the deal for me.
Like screen_name, I'd have to say my birthday suit was (obviously) my cheapest, but if that doesn't count, it was probably a plain white T-shirt and a pair of white boxer briefs I bought off the clearance rack at Target. (The only drawback was that I actually really liked those boxer briefs and never could manage to find any more of that particular brand.)
I don't think I've ever had an "expensive" outfit - nothing more than $5-$10 spent (in total) at the Goodwill.
Thinking a thrift store buttondown, a white A-shirt, and some white and blue patterned boxers might be next on my list.
For me, it's probably one of the pairs of sneakers I've destroyed. I've probably completely trashed close to ten pairs by now, and Nike Air Maxes and Jordan's aren't cheap. Most of my suits come from thrift stores or eBay so they're cheap relatively speaking.
As cheapest some white t-shirt had to suffer from green jelly.
The most expensive was a mud bath in my motorcycle leathers, Dr. Martens boots, laced leather pants, hoodie, leather jacket and gloves. Great fun to get totally covered and the cleaning up bath afterwards with soft wet leather...
But as that stuff withstands a mud bath and wasn't ruined and instead gave me nice memories during the days afterwards when I spotted some non-washed-off muddy sprinkles 8-
