I thought I would make this a separate post, as I'm not sure if there's people who will be wanting to only come to this?

We will be taking over the lower bar, so just down the stairs to the right of the main doors.
The pub is a few minutes walk from the pier along the seafront towards Knightstone Island. There are 2 car parks right next to it. Hampton and Melrose.
Weston super Mare is well covered by Public Transport and there are buses and trains to the town centre, the pub isn't a long walk from the bus or train station. There are also many B&Bs and Hotels, being a sea side town.

The pub offers basic bar food until around 6pm. There isn't an official meal booked, but Weston does have a lot of nice places to eat, that cater for all tastes.

This is a relaxed, social meetup in a pub. There will be members of the public also there, so please wear normal vanilla clothes so we don't make anyone else uncomfortable!
We're all here to make friends and have a nice chat so it's really important that everyone has the same understanding of consent, and boundaries, especially those of us who've never attended a munch or a meetup before.
Please remember that many people don't like physical contact, especially with people they haven't met before, and refrain from touching people without their consent - even a friendly pat on the shoulder or a hug can encroach on people's personal space so let's all make a conscious effort to be respectful of everyone's limits!
If someone is making you feel uncomfortable, the first step to take is to tell them a clear "no thank you". If they continue to be inappropriate, please tell me or Leonmoomin immediately, or message us privately afterwards.We are more than happy to ask people to leave if their behaviour isn't cool or step in if you don't feel confident telling someone you're not interested.
I can't be there obviously, but I'd like to buy you and Leon a drink at least. I'd offer a round if I wasn't so damn poor. Is there an app for that? If not, I'll just buy a couple scenes, but that feels like a cop out...

Vanilla clothes? Whipped cream, in the US is usually vanilla flavored, so...recreate that scene from "Varsity Blues" but with a near-middle-aged, overweight, hairy dude (me)...got it.
Disappointed I cannot make it as Weston is too far away presently for me as I'm in baby limboland. Missus is about ready to drop no 2 out anytime, and knowing my luck I would be mid bucket throw at Lisa meaning my aim would be off.
Thanks for this great initiative! It sounds like an amazing event organized by one of the - in my opinion - most sympathetic and fun producer team.
I am in a similar (not same =)) situation as Jonny which makes it difficult to fly over from Germany, especially as there's no late option going back on sunday.
So it's really a pity I am going to miss that one. Hope there will be a repetition. Anyway, have fun all of those who are joining!

Was your aim ever on?! (yes, I had jug gate, but I didn't do too badly from the gantry - well, in the ones we've seen at least! If only we had gunge blasters then!) Shame you can't make it, been ages! (It's cos Ali's coming ya big feartie!) Hope all is well with the Baines!
This place has newly opened around the corner from the Pavilion bar. They can accommodate us all! Anyone fancy a nice meal after? Although it's a smokehouse, I have been assured they do cater for all eating habits.
the meal sounds good, count me in. I will be there for the saturday and sunday, though the hotel check in is not till 4pm so might be a little bit late
