I had a chat with CK recently about the UMD hangout and how we don't go on there very often as there don't tend to be many people hanging out when we've looked. So, we decided to pick an evening and create an event of it, so people can log in, knowing there will be a few other folk to chat to and we will be paying it our undivided attention!
The date will be Friday August 12th from 8pm onwards. Maria and I will have just finished a messy session (the 6th one we have scheduled in), so we should have plenty to chat about!
Ask well as myself and Maria, CK will be online. Comment below if you're happy to drop in too! It could be the first online Splunch!
I'll be there! I've done this in a small way before posting on twitter and my umd status saying to come to chat, emailing a few people who I know like to be in there when chat gets going a bit etc. I find just being in there and talking shite for long enough works well but it can be a slow process. This should work even better though having been posted on the forum. Really looking forward to it
I'm glad to see a good response, thanks for JnC for posting this, I've been away this weekend visiting Saturation Hall and also Pride. Chat to you all on Friday and if it goes well, maybe this can be a somewhat regular thing.
I'm going to be there as and when I can from 8pm but will be around properly from 11pm. Won't be too late a night as I've got American Football on Saturday.
