Morgan Fairchild years ago expressed an interest in getting messy. Early in her career, in 1978's The Initiation of Sarah, she was completely soaked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIXunDXaiYw around 55:30 I used to have a better screen grab than this and that copy on YT doesn't seem to be very good quality. She stands up in the fountain and that sweater is plastered to her.

I think the "major" part is the alert. For those of us, like me, who really seek out mainstream WAM, I appreciate a major alert like this. This seems to be a pretty big scene for mainstream pie fans. Even though the actresses are older, it is pretty cool to see, e.g., Loni Anderson get pied. Thanks OP
Here's a quote I found from the director of this movie, Taylor Ann Thompson (who also acts in it as well, playing the director of the soap-opera-within-the-movie):
"They (the five stars) made fun of themselves. They were over the top. They showed you how a diva can get carried away," Thompson laughs. "That happened throughout the movie. And of course, we have an epic food fight. I mean, epic. I think anyone who sees this is going to go, 'Oh my Lord, how did they shoot this?' [The gravy being poured over Sheridan is something to see!] Especially when I told them when we started, 'We're only going to shoot the food fight once because we don't have time for all of you to go take a shower, redress and do this thing. So, we got one take at getting this right, but I want you to throw everything you can at everybody you can.'"
Wetlook fans may be pleased to hear that the article this came from mentioned there were also "pool pushings" in the film. It didn't get any more specific than that, though.
Ok, just saw this scene. This is the opinion of a jaded 60 plus year old guy into pies, so here is my verdict. Morgan Fairchild and Loni Anderson get solid pies in the face, Donna Mills gets a handful of mashed potatoes in her face(not into savory, but good coverage anyway). As HappyCamper said, if this was 1978 this would be epic. Still, worth a watch!
Saw it too. I thought it was outstanding. 1. Classic actresses. 2. Good coverage for Loni, Morgan, and Donna. 3. Good setup- bitchy divas get comeuppance. 4. All took their pies like champs. 5. Harkens back to tit for tat pie fight days.
I don't know what anyone would complain about. It's not like a producer's vid with 20 pies flying at them, but for a cable movie, I thought they nailed it.
This is such a fun find! These women are so iconic, it's great to see them all together and I think they all look fabulous, clean and messy Great facial coverage too Thanks for sharing

I do have to admit I was really expecting this to be about a huge pie fight or mud fight or WAM related event that was happening that we all could attend. The title is a little misleading. The show is a good find though
Just curious is there a way to save that video from the website to a PC? My downloading software isn't able to do it, I use Video Downloader Helper & Any Video Converter. I'd love to save the short messy scene as those were 2 great pie hits on those legendary ladies. I have also been searching for the vid on YT but nothing has popped up except the promos.

I have an ethical battle going on in my head about this sort of thing. When it is wam producers video on adult tube sites, it is wrong. When it is Hollywood on YT, then that is fine. This tool can be used to download YT videos before they are taken down, and that is ok. Using it to download an wam producers video before it is taken down is piracy. Watching copyright infringed material on YT is fine, but watching copyright infringed material on adult tube sites is supporting piracy. Meh. I don't have a strong opinion on this. It is just something that I have been thinking about. I spend thousands here to get what I want, so you don't need to worry about me using this tool to download pirated videos... I'm not sure I should even mention this because it may give people ideas...
Can anyone post the run time within the movie -- the new one -- where the food fight starts? It only plays very fitfully on my computer, and when you jump around in the timeline of the movie at the link above, it triggers a bunch of ads each time, so the timestamp of the start of the food fight scene would be a really helpful piece of info to have. Thanks in advance to anyone who can share this info!

mFeelzGood said: Why download the YT? It is a bad vertical recording. Why not download the entire 1h25m video? And get the full scene...
But that's exactly what I meant. You can use yt-dlp (a tool originally designed to download YT) to download other things as well, including the Lifetime video!
Don't give Lifetime any ad revenue for producing this film. Send the 3.7K views in 3 days to small channels that rip the best part with a vertical recording. The extra 3K ad view revenue from a film containing a pie fight seen might encourage them to make more pie fights in film .
I am being ironic to make a point, a point that I don't care about. I am just entertaining myself. The folks that like wam in Hollywood the most seem the least likely to pay for a dvd, a subscription, or the ad time. Everyone just wants to see the best part . I wonder what it is like to be a producer (or writer, actor, or director) when you find your work is being cut up and uploaded to youtube. Do they care? Or is it just about money. The mess in my brain feels compelled to type this even though I don't care about the argument I am making.
I watched the end of the movie and the camerawork in the food fight is awful. The closeups are too tight. You can barely tell what is happening or to who and there is no after-math. That YT video of Loni Anderson posted above is actually better.
