Hey all! Two good ones just got remastered! First up, the debut from our longest running model ever... Lindsay! Yep, 2008 to 2020, off and on (mostly off, but I tried!).... And I still hold out hope she *might* come back. Doubtful, but you never know with her! For those who only know her as a buff goddess from her HD volumes, SS66 is gonna be a... shock? Look at that babyface! (Also, the guy in the vid looks super young too...) And I billed her as a "fitness model" back then, but that meant something very different in the 2000s. (The woman definitely did NOT skip leg day over the next decade.) The classic Lindsay "I guess this is my life" resignation is already evident tho... Along with a rare-for-the-time "girl humiliates guy" clip that's legit funny! (Parodying infomercials was always fun... I need to revive this idea sometime...)
And then one of the (hidden?) gems of the catalog... The only appearance by the "Other" Tasha! Holy smokes, this woman was pure girl-next-door sex appeal mixed with Southern charm... And those curls! In an alternate timeline (where America isn't a burning trash heap of angry bigots kicking puppies?), "Other Tasha" went on to be a beloved fixture in SlapstickStuff history... and did a number of two-girl scenes with "Original Toshia" that broke the Internet. Okay, wishful thinking... But in THIS timeline, I got at least one fantastic volume out of Bizarro Tasha (despite having a raging head cold that day). And it still holds up. Especially the secretary skit, which was written by a former customer/email pal of mine who used to send me scripts for fun, in between his "real" job as a part-time playwright and English professor. Can you tell that I basically just ripped off his original script for all future versions of the secretary scene? (Hey, it's not like some of my rival producers didn't ALSO do the same... )
Tasha even got her own (pretty great) trailer... Which I'd forgotten about until I went back to the original DVD files for this remastering job. So here it is! What a girl!
Sorry to see this thread hasn't gotten more love. Lyndsay is truly one of your all-time greats to me -- a breathtaking beauty with a really fun personality and sarcastic smarts, plus surprisingly great comic timing to boot. She's one of the handful of your models that I feel slots perfectly into your silly skits (I don't mean that as a backhanded compliment -- most of your models do fine with the skits, but Lyndsay is one of maybe half a dozen or so that is actually really great at doing them and feels right at home amidst their lighthearted absurdity). It's almost impossible for me to pick my single favorite model of yours, and thank goodness I can just enjoy them all without worrying about that nonsense . But if I HAD to pick a single favorite, my desert island dessert-faced diva, if you will, then I'd almost have to go with lovely, luscious Lindsay.
No argument with Lindsay.... She might not be my favorite model ever but she's definitely in the running. I never really had to coach her much or explain anything.... She either inherently "got" the vibe I was going for, or her natural personality just fit well.
My only gripe... and this is *entirely* her call, mind you... is that she was basically a working model for 15 years. And had fun with the shoots. But we only shot 4 times total. And believe me, I TRIED to get her back more frequently. Which was tough, because she was on the West Coast from like 2010 on. BUT she made occasional trips back, usually in the early part of the year, and after we shot two years in a row (SS117 and SS135), I just assumed we'd keep this good thing going. Nope! Only one other time.
So again, this is more me than her. But there's just that little element of frustration baked into all her volumes. Many years when she didn't schedule the time right... Two (!!) separate times she was sick (in one case, Breana came in last-minute to sub, as I already had everything ready to go)... And at some point, I even told her I would cover her airfare to just come in and shoot. But we couldn't get that to happen either.
Again, I'm lucky I was able to keep shooting with her across the years. But compared to the trajectory of almost every model--either they try it once, and don't like it, or they're a natural and shoot frequently over X period of time--Lindsay was unique.... And probably more ambivalent about the shoots in the end. (Or logistics and priorities and bad timing didn't work out.) But regardless, there's definitely the sense that I "left money on the table" with her, and that rarely happens.

Aside from the marvel of originally finding the site when SS36 was newly-released, there are a few Slapstickstuff release announcements that stopped me dead in my tracks, that dropped my jaw and made me say, "Good LORD, Rich has done it again."
- Erin in the gold bikini and white chef bikini in 131 - Shelly and Kasie (so underrated imo) in white chef bikinis and later lawn chairs in 138 - the original Toshia bikini scenes in 61 ("How can you shut us down? We're already closed...") - Brin in her gold bikini and the pies from above scenes in 159 - (And actually germane to the discussion) Lindsay in SS135
When I saw the stills for Lindsay for those scenes, with just the one preview image, I was absolutely floored.
And now seeing the beginnings of Lindsay remastered? Just so so so good.
