The Monarch's new show offers couples the chance to resolve their grudges in a very messy way.
Cillian brings his grudge against Brigitte, that she behaved badly on a night out, to us and when Brigitte accepts the challenge, the warring couple compete across 3 mini-games : Rock Paper Scissors, sit-ups and arm wrestling, to earn cards in their suit. Each player is also given one free card. So even if a player loses all the challenges, when it comes to the crunch moment they still have a chance, when one card is picked, to determine who will have to strip naked and receive the mega pie barrage. They get 31 pies: 10 of our special chantilly crream pies that are proving so poular, plus 20 shaving cream pies too. Actually make that 31 because after the loser showers and gets clean, watched by the winner, then we can't resist giving them a post shower extra large pie to the face :). There are spoilers in the pics, but someone loses and receives the lot.

Is this the start of a new series? If so, which other couples will be battling it out to avoid getting plastered with pies?

This was the pilot episode and a number of factors will determine if more are made.
One of those factors is sales, and it has sold 2 copies so far so maybe this format isn't going to fly, sadly.
