Hi, fellow webmasters! I want to remind you all that our What's New service is still available, and still free. It's there for you to use to keep our community up on what's going on at your site.
Nowadays the What's New section is heavily tilted toward our new downloads, but that's only because site webmasters aren't submitting as much as they used to. I think it's important and useful to our visitors to be aware of what's going on in the whole wam community, not just here.
I notice a lot of webmasters just plug updates on the forum, which is okay. But if you're not using What's New as well, you're missing out. To plug each of your sites' updates to What's New, just edit your site listing and click the What's New button.
Hi MM, I tried to submit to what's new with three new pic sets on my website but it wouldn't click through/save whatever once I'd filled all the details in. Will definitely use it if it's working again

Hi I just wanted to try how "what's new" is working, but there was an error message popping up, saying "You cannot add a site to what's new before it has been approved by admin." Do I need help?

Just click on the "My Sites" link which you'll find on the left of your own UMD profile. You'll see a list of all of your sites, and a blue "What's New" button for each. Click it, and you'll get the form and instructions.

Oops, you were trying to add an entry for your UMD download store. Those are automated in What's New already and we don't take submissions for those, so that's why the error. I'll update the system to remove the What's New link for those.

Historically our What's New section has always been the most visited section of this site. Any webmaster of any WAM site is welcome to mention all of their site updates there as they happen.
We keep a running history of all your updates, too. Check out the Wambabes page: https://umd.net/site/wambabescom . It's all to bring more eyeballs to your site.
