Has anyone used black treacle for a session with a partner? I think it looks amazing but when my partner and I tried it it was painfully sticky. I mean impossible to pull away from each other / move against each other without it being uncomfortable or actually painful. I realise for some people this could be a plus (!) but I was after a more sensual experience while still getting the same appearance. Any tips? Wondered about watering it down? Or maybe try a good coating of oil first (but then would it just fall off?)
For reference I'm in the UK, so this was "black treacle", which I think is similar to molasses but I may be wrong... And we're not averse to a bit of stickiness - honey has been fun - but treacle was just "Ow"! .
Treacle is incredibly sticky, I certainly wouldn't recommend it for anything where you want to be able to move / slide against each other. We've found that mixing golden syrup and custard on someone makes for a very slippery and flowing mess, alternatively try powder gunge dyed very dark brown or black.
We used to try watering black treacle down with warm water, but it's tricky to get the quantity right, a fraction too much and you just get brown water, a fraction too little and it's still just insanely sticky.

May I add this to the Wiki?
Sure! Though note our mixing of syrup and custard has been on fully clothed people, not tried it direct on skin yet.
Molasses I bought in 5litre tub off Amazon - Blackstrap Molasses which is sold as horse feed is a different texture to treacle. Treacle has the texture of syrup and is slow running and super sticky. Molasses was more liquid but super messy. I could draw patterns in it on my body....you couldn't do that with treacle. I used it to fill a white swimsuit.... https://umd.net/download_info/sexy-white-swimsuit-send-off
There are plenty of other substances that are similar to black treacle but without the problems that you mentioned (e.g. Golden Syrup). If you specifically want to work with black treacle then I would recommend pre-warming it in a hot water bath, heating the treacle up to near body temp makes it more slick and easier to work with.

Treacle is amazing for solo shoot and even better for feathers to stick to for a taring and feathering but not for what the OP wanted to use it for. They wanted a substance to use as a couple Thats why I suggested Molasses as its not super tacky, treacle pretty much would pull the hairs out of your skin like sugaring/waxing under friction

Ta for the reminder about that scene, added to my next purchase list.
How did the molasses feel, temperature wise? Lady Jasmine finds custard gets absolutely freezing, even with the dungeon heaters on, after 10 minutes or so, but she absolutely loves the feel of black treacle and it also doesn't give the same chilling effect. A few weeks back we were about to prepare our regular Sunday afternoon fully clothed paddling pool dungeon session, she was wearing a boilersuit over a swimsuit, plus wellies, and had me pour three cans of black treacle into her swimsuit before we went down and started the preparations, so she was then getting steadily squelchier and stickier as we got things ready. But no coldness. Something with the same lack of chilling effect but not quite as sticky would be a handy substance to add to our messy options.

Thank you for adding to your basket
Yes definitely warmer than custard, maybe its the high sugar content as a pose to high water content as in custard. As messy as treacle but soaks into clothes so even better.
I've used molasses (sold as livestock or horse supplement) many times over the years. As Cinq says, it's a totally different texture and consistency to treacle - which is also one of my favourites - and so makes for a completely different experience.
It's excellent when mixed liberally with flour. Unfortunately all my session pics are still out-of-reach on my failed hard drive, otherwise I'd illustrate!
Oh, and another thing about molasses - it's about half the price of treacle Look out a local feed supplier (e.g. Mole Valley in the UK) and you'll find 5 litres for only £6-7

Thanks for the mixing it with flour idea, must try that and for a cheaper place to obtain it
Thanks everyone - what a great source of information the UMD is! Looks like molasses is the way forward. I'm looking forward to playing with one of those 5l containers from Amazon . Cheers.
I had a catering size tub of black treacle dumped over me once, quite long time ago but things I remember :
The initial feeling is great. Very gimp masky though in terms of blackout. That heavy feeling over head.
It did sting a bit in the eyes.
It definitely dominated the rest of the gunging... Everything was sludgy brown after that.
Afterwards, thick thick thick coating of conditioner left of for ages and combed through really helped. I think I've mentioned before but I really miss Original Source Mint conditioner as it was the one for shifting lingering food smells from hair. I should have stocked up when it was poundland fodder before being discontinued.

This doesn't answer the original question but I have to say that copious amounts of black treacle is probably my absolute favourite thing to get totally covered in. I can imagine it's not so great for sensually sliding around with someone in but to be honest, I don't think I'd care! Definitely need to try the molasses at some point
