This post is partly about a great shoot today with Kacie and Satine. But it's also about how nice Kacie and Satine are.

I was feeling very low this morning. My 3rd model had cancelled and the scene I was really excited about filming and most proud of since Judge Jessie, could not go ahead with 2 people. Plus I had told my assistant, the wonderful Tony Hill, the wrong day for the shoot so he couldn't come.

I just felt quite low. But Satine and Kacie arrived and were so supportive and encouraging and cheered me right up

Satine and Kacie are more than just amazingly gorgeous models who throw, and take, a fantastic pie (though they are definitely that)

They are also both just warm, kind, friendly, lovely people. We had a little 'group therapy' session talking about all of our recent woes, and supporting each other.

I'm not explaining this well, but I was touched by their kindness and support and encouragement. You meet some lovely lovely people in the wam community.

So a little public thank-you to Satine and Kacie for being so wonderful and lovely and really touching the heart of your old Reverend.

Sorry to hear about the problems and things not going to plan but on the plus side you're so right Kacie and Satine are very beautiful and definitely seem to have a good fun chemistry. I too would like to add that Kacie is amazing!! and she is the loveliest person and really friendly, kind and helpful too. I'm glad you had a supportive day with Kacie and Satine. The pics from the shoot look fantastic and looks like it was lots of fun. I'm excited and very much looking forward to seeing the scenes I'm sure they're amazing as always. It's a real bummer when things don't go to plan.
I've suffered no end through no fault of my own, plans dropped, excitement gone, then out of the blue something positive happens.
When you find friends that will take the time to listen and comprises accordingly. . They are genuine friends to keep a hold of, they are few and far between.

Huge respect for your honesty

Can't help but notice nakedness. .. does this mean what I'm thinking... some underwear will not be worn again.

Thanks Norman..and it probably sounds very '1st world problems' the way I put it. But I have had a few other things ongoing in rl that have been causing me problems..and this was just the final straw and I found myself feeling non-enthused in the run-up to the shoot (after the model cancellled) for the first time since I started.

However, I did think up 2 simple scenarios for Satine and Kacie...

and when they came they were both just so wonderful and kind etc..and I got right back into being enthused. they were concerned for my health when they realised they weren't expected to learn a novel's worth of dialogue this time ...but they ran with my basic scenarios and brought them to life superbly.

I really love the sound of the scenes going to be fantastic to see, Kacie and Satine can definitely turn your wonderful scenarios into some awesome scenes they both have great imagination and can interpret the scripts brilliantly. Even basic scenarios are still amazing!! I hope you continue with the fantastic work Rev it is definitely appreciated, you're certainly a fantastic writer and make some brilliant scenes

It's good to hear that both helped to perk you up a bit. Hardly worth me adding to what's been said about Kacie, if people don't know how nice she is by now they never will...!

Hope today was an aberration in terms of the problems you had early doors. I'm sure it happens to many but not good to think something enjoyable can become such a pain in the arse & get you down when the stars don't align. I guess us 'consumers' rarely think about the problems that can occur - glad everything worked out, & thanks for posting these great pics!

Thanks Buff. I really really appreciate the supportive words. I think we producers try not to mention the negative stuff as it takes away the sexiness of the fantasy, which is what people come here for. But as we have opened the door.......

Yesterday I was already low because of some rl stuff I have had going on, which meant I couldn't work up the enthusiasm to try and write full replacement scenes for the great, but unusuable, 3 girl scripts I had. So I knew I would be shooting stuff which would probably sell well..but wouldn't really work for me (my fave 'scene' of yesterday was a 5 minute clip with no mess at all, where the girls , as their office characters, just chat about how much they enjoy trashing other girls, and how they are even doing it outside work) which felt like a waste of having two great models there. Plus I felt like a total twatwaffle for giving Tony the wrong day. I was really looking forward to seeing him..and I know he was excited about the shoot..so I felt really bad for fecking that up... ..and so I came in feeling quite down..my actual feeling going in was 'just get through the day'

Then of course Kacie and Satine arrived, and just on a human level we all get on very well, and we started chatting..and they were really enthused about my original scripts...and just really positive all round. Plus they put my problems in perspective..and then we were all catching up and having fun..and it ended up being a lovely day on a social level

but all of that notwithstanding it is fair to say that filming is by no means glamorous.

You are up at stupid o clock prepping. On more than a third of shoots one or more model will cancel (usually with very good reason of course but it still leaves you with a very tough situation). You have to be a good host... you need to make sure temperature is warm so the models don't freeze when naked, which means you end up perspiring freely!. You try and capture as much of what was in your head when you wrote the scenes as you can, remembering to get the lighting right, and remembering to press record. You really enjoy having a nice chat with the models, and seeing them genuinely enjoying what they are doing... and then suddenly..it's time for them to go and you have hours of clean-up ahead on your own. You worry just how trashed even the non-wam room bits of your house are beginning to look...you really need to redecorate but that wasn't in your budgets.

After almost every shoot I tell myself I should stop doing this. Truly. Did it again yesterday in fact.

Then a few hours / couple of days later you start to edit..it looks nice..you upload a scene..Norman /Devo /Vanessa/16parkvilla/PiedPiskie/Buff etc (apologies..can't list you all) write some lovely comments. People take the time to PM you and say they like your work. Busy UMDers 'love' your photos, and people start to buy this thing you have created....and knowing people enjoy it makes it all worthwhile and you begin to forget the negative feelings. I've no idea if other producers feel the same, but the feedback is one of the things that keeps me making scenes..so the UMDers who take the time to reply to a thread..I am in your debt and you are genuinely the reason why I am still making scenes.

Then you start to write your next scripts..you have an idea..it starts to come together. You think about who you could cast in the roles..and the excitement starts again.

But the actual filming day is undoubtedly my least fave part of the whole creative circle and the part after which I always wonder whether to keep going.
