In the past couple of hours, UMD stopped receiving the information from our biller to properly authorize a sale. So recent customers have not received their purchases though they have been charged for them. I'm trying to get to the bottom of it and will post again once I know more.

I used to order a messy video from Rob Blaine every six months. I'd send off a cheque by air-mail, the banks would then take over a month to authorise it and convert to dollars, ad about six weeks after placing the order the VHS tape would arrive. The world really has changed beyond all recognition in just 25 years.
... oh, and in keeping with the posts previous to mine, I had to wait for Hurley Coward's "Pie Mafia" publications before I even knew about Rob Blaine's "Messy Fun" catalogs ... both of which I think I still have at least one of in storage ! And when I discovered this place, my first custom video I had made was by Sara from MessyGirl ... I believe it was one of Sara's first few customs !!! I can verify that this forum has come a long, long way over the years ... and I still enjoy coming here as much as I always did !!!

If there was a breach, I'd immediately be on here notifying everyone. There wasn't a breach, but the authentication issues you experienced were part of the same problem that prevented our biller from properly accessing us to authorize purchases.
UMD was simply miscalculating when to require a splash page, due to some deep work I had been doing on the templating system earlier that same day. I'm happy to get as technical as you like, but just know this was my fault and nobody else's.

I noticed that too, but just assumed it was a glitch. Glad it's sorted
