Sally Slimewell has me on yet another gameshow! One that guarantees I get messy regardless of how well I do.
The aim is to complete each round successfully to win a single letter of the secret word. The better I do, the easier it is to guess the word at the end. If I don't... an epic gunging awaits!
If you want to enjoy this scene without any spoilers, then jump ahead to buy it and ignore the rest of the description and the pictures!
It starts with the unseen, but ever-present host Sally Slimewell explaining the game and introducing me as the contestant. The rules are simple--each round I must unlock a padlock to reveal one of the letters. But the key for each padlock requires all sorts of different messy shennanigans! After a bit of back-and-forth with Sally, and showing all the gunge infront of me, we dive into Round 1--"Slimy Search." There are a bunch of keys in some of the buckets of slime in front of me. Some are decoys, and some buckets don't have keys. I need to find the correct one that opens the padlock. Easy peasy.
Round 2, "wam Walk" is up next. Sally Slimewell explains I need to grab a key from one end of the pool and walk to the other end of the pool where the padlock is. But it might be the wrong key and I Must only step in the buckets of slime to make my way from one end to the other. Things get very messy here! Those converse shoes got ruined immediately!
After more banter with Sally we move onto Round 3--"surpies." In this one, there is one single number hidden somewhere amongst a bunch of pies. I need to pick a pie and search that pie for the number. Only... I'm not allowed to use my hands! So into the pies goes my face! At the end, Sally isn't happy with how that round went and... well... you can see the pictures to see what she gets me to do!
I'm a goopy mess by Round 4--"The Gunk Dunk." Once again, the buckets of slime are filled with a bunch of keys. However... this time Sally explains I can't use my hands to get the keys out! So yup, in goes my head into all the buckets of goo and gunk! I don't manage, and get angry at how difficult it is. Sally offers one more chance to dunk and get a key, and if I manage, she offers to get gunged instead of me.
The final act of the scene involves me sitting in a simulated gunge tank (using clever editing!). I have to guess the word with the letters I won previously.
I don't get it correct and an absolute deluge of blue and red gunge falls from above making sure I'm completely covered. It goes on forever! But it's not done yet... I then get obliterated with thick chunky green gunge too!
I hope you enjoy this one!
*important Information*
(1) I had to reduce the video image quality for this to fit the 2GB file limit. If you want a higher quality version, let me know.
(2) Genai was used to produce the voice for Sally Slimewell and the title card images for each round. (3) The gunge tank is a Cgi-effect (it's a little silly, but we don't have the room for a real one!)
