Just wanted to chime in and ask the group if we should go back to taking photographs of our shoots? Back then, it was kind of a hassle switching the video camera to photo mode between filming and back again, which was one of the reasons I stopped taking pics. Now a days, the iPhone can do a pretty decent job for quick snap shots. We could take about 30 to 50 pics with the iPhone, and just add them to our updates in the members site, along with the video. We could also offer them as photo sets individually on our other stores.
Back in the day I ALWAYS downloaded the photos that came with the stills...but I gradually stopped. So I totally get why most producers gradually stopped releasing photos.
That said I do like good stills, and the photos I have from old shoots/producers (especially WAMF) are a great nostalgia trip. So if they aren't that big of a hassle, why not?
Yes please, good quality photos are a great complement to the video and offer a different perspective in my opinion. I tend to notice the mess and models in more detail when viewing pictures.
