This is such an interesting question about the future...
It's one thing to make a visually believable image like these. It's possibly another thing to be able to make an entire video, complete with audio, video, developed characters and backgrounds, no less the appearance of pie splatter and slime coverage, that is believable and stimulating.
Of course given enough time, even all that is likely possible. So the question is how long in the future will that be.
Add to that, it will need to be financially possible. Pixar makes very believable movies, at enormous cost, and distributes them globally to millions of paying viewers. Thats not the case for our content.
I personally would love to see AI generated material of the scope of MessyFun's 12 Girl Beauty Pageant and Pie Wedgies. Today videos like that are simply not financially possible to produce.
When will a WAM producer be able to afford to make a realistic AI video? Who knows. I can tell you its hard enough to now to produce WAM videos in the real world.
In the end, when that is technically possible and financially possible... I believe the answer to Will We Care, will be hell no.
Next question... will the WAM writers and actors, hell even producers, go on strike to prevent being left behind? lol
Lots to ponder!! For now I vote YES for having an in person annual WAM Com in Vegas so we can continue to interact in person.
Which brings up an interesting discussion point. If we can't tell, will we care?
You can call me,

If you are interested in a discussion, I have a lot to say on this topic. I have been thinking about it for months. This is something that I wanted to discuss in the main messy forum.
People will tend towards 3 categories:
A) Like it B) Dislike it C) Don't care
Some people will care if they feel deceived, confused, or disappointed when they find that the images are not real and not part of a scene which they can buy. I can think of more reasons why people will dislike it.
There are also a lot of reasons why generated images will be liked.
I think the number of forum posts and people photo albums containing generated images will increase over time. Generators are becoming more popular and people are discovering how to use it.
People will switch categories. There are a few outcomes. This site could become a place where the majority of content is generated and the majority of people enjoy it. It could be banned because the majority of people dislike it. It could be mixed and filterable using tags like gender tagging. It could be mixed and unaddressed.
So, I'm wonder what was Lapwingboy's impression was when he found out there was no video for these images. I'm wondering what are the opinions of others viewing this thread. Seems like messydreams is looking forward to generated content. Maybe others are dreading it.
That's how long "experts" are saying until the ordinary user will be able to develop their own videos through AI featuring just about anything they want. As was described at a recent conference I attended "You know the Holodeck from Star Trek? Think that but for AI video." Will we care? Probably not as long as we are not deceived and told it's real when it's not I suppose. But we'll get used to it one way or the other. Here's another thought: How about AI mixed with REAL human footage?
1 problem is that it is illegal to use someone's likeness without their permission (deepfaking). And I'm pretty sure manipulating an image to be realistic porn would be one of those times!
The pictures in my post above are women who don't actually exist, so using their images is not a problem. But just like you get models for live videos now you can pay them to also be in AI "combined" videos and they don't even have to be there. My question is why would you pay women to be in videos when AI can create them for you? Maybe you find a specific woman very attractive and want that so ok, you have to offer her payment. Now, for movie stars or models, etc. there is going to be an argument that because they are public figures, you can use them. Whether that argument succeeds or not is anyone's guess. But it's going to eventually be as big, if not a bigger problem than it was regarding downloading music and movies.
