"Question for all- pies"

What I wanna know is what happened to all the pie wam? I mean it seems like more stuff is being done with less pies, more slime, mud, etc, I miss the older days of lots of pies, piefights etc, I know Slapstickstuff, Anglefan, Mesdygirl still does pie content, or is it just me?
As a producer, no money in it. Two issues, the pie fans are broke. The pie community is too fractured leading to a low volume of sales. Shaving cream vs real pies, runny pies vs coverage, crust vs no crust, thrown vs smashed. What it's devolved into is just a singe model getting hit with 50 pies. And that's played itself out - very boring.

I appreciate your response, but the older days of Lenny's, piefightgirls, etc, with multiple girls, 100s of pies, I understand the cost issue, but in general, not even mainstream anymore, Nickelodeon, YVDTOTV, movies, television, just seems like pies are outdated is all

Yep, if Rob Blaine were around today producing multiple girl pie fights, he'd be filing for bankruptcy. And true that pies seem to have passed their time. It's definitely no longer a thing. Mainstream pies are as dead as a nail. The non-consent movement has killed them off.
I posted a pie vid from TikTok here about a month ago. The mods deleted it for non-consent. Dumber than a box of rocks.

Same. I got my pie fetish in middle school with the Mickey Mouse Club pieings. I grew up in the pie heyday; every single great pie moment I watched live; Mandrell, Three's Company, etc..every single sitcom. Even a bit towards the end with College Mad House.
I joined here about 1997 (on my second profile as I left the community for a few years) but bought all the DVD pie vids. I was the one who ordered Pie Wedgies from Rob Blaine. I remember Doodmon's scenes.
Now the pie scene is a "shell" of itself. Pie vids now are "girl sits in chair/stands get hit with 25 pies." The mods have made it so restrictive that you can't post any external pie content, effectively killing the pie community here.

I would agree that the pre-You Tube days of producers being able to fund mega epic pie fight scenes are gone (though there's a very popular 9 girl piefight scene by a handsome young producer (
) that's been made in the past 10 years that's still available here) but I do think the rest of your view is a little 'glass half empty'. As well as the producers you mention (Slapstickstuff, Anglefan, Messygirl ) who make great pie content, there's an amazing scene from Jayce on sale right now with huge numbers of pies, The Man and The Wife do great pie scenes on a consistent basis, the pie fight with Cleo and Michelle in my store ( Slymsford's Sploshers ), released earlier this month got great feedback from pie fans and it's far from my only pie scene
, Wam Bagheera makes great pies and knows how to deliver them...HikariWam has great pie scenes.....and that's me writing this off the top of my head. I apologise to all the other great producers making great pie content who my brain hasn't instantly recalled. There are loads of great pie scenes still available....but there's also more content in general available than ever, which is amazing. As well as loads of scenes for slime and mud fans, etc, there's loads of great pie content. Yes, the days when lack of choice for consumers meant producers could spend thousands on a scene and still make a huge profit, died when Youtube and online piracy arrived, *but* if we take off the rose tinted glasses, in those days you paid £30 for a video tape where perhaps only one of the scenes reflected your interests. Speaking as a pie fan, and not a producer, I would argue there's still loads of amazing pie content available, and I don't think it's time for the obituaries just yet.

Thanks my dear Rev! In Wam Bagheera Studio we love the pies and continue testing new recipes, nothing more humiliating than a pie in the face of a pretty girl while wearing new clothes and has an important appointment very soon. HAHAHA

The price for even making a short pie video is crazy, when factoring in supplies before the cost of the model themselves, so I don't think that has helped.
Also, and I'm sure I'm partially at fault here, the folks ordering pie customs are paying more for less, so it drives the price up even more for the bigger messes.
Like was said above, there's a ton of great pie content out there now if you look for it. Especially here.

They're crazy if they think that a request like that is only going to cost us $50
I would also like to add that while I wholeheartedly agree with pie vids being super expensive, I would also argue that anything else you use can also raise the expenses too. Whether it be pies, gunge, slime, food stuff, mud, etc. After factoring in all my expenses, an average session costs me about $300 USD
