So the thread linked immediately above features both male and female messiness. The male takes the most mess, it's true, but you also get Jayce and Ariel looking very sexy and getting a fair amount of shaving cream on them (it's all over both of their chests and, at least in Jayce's case, down her stomach, on her legs, etc. Ariel has a fair amount of it in her hair.) I feel like this should be tagged coed, but it's not. I think maybe it WAS tagged coed originally, but then changed, because I'm pretty sure I remember it showing up in my forum view (which is filtered for "Female") at some point yesterday. FWIW, I did the "flagging" thing and suggested that it be changed to "coed" about an hour ago.
It seems, for whatever reason, that this post is not considered "coed" by the administration. I think that's too bad, and I have to wonder what the definition of coed is if a post with both males and females getting messy together doesn't qualify.
Not at all. You clearly didn't read my post very carefully, Wambob. My point was that I would LIKE such posts to be tagged "coed," which would mean they WOULD show up under both the "Female" and "Male" view options, which I think it should since it shows both male and female mess. I thought that was the whole point of having a "coed" option in the new UMD tagging system.
Thanks for clarifying, cake7. I didn't think I was hallucinating when I saw that post near the top of the forum (as filtered "female") at some point very early in its life. Someone must've flagged it very early on and asked that it be changed to "male", because it was only very briefly viewable on the "female"-filtered forum [say that 10 times fast!].
I hope Messmaster will comment on this. I have no idea who made the call on changing the tagging for this thread (those flags have to be approved by some administrator, I assume), but it sure seems like a mistake based on the way MM initially defined the "coed" category.
Hey, MessMaster, when you get a chance, I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this. Saw you online last night and sent you an instant message pointing out this thread, but I guess you are very busy with other stuff at the moment. Since you've been so actively working to fine-tune the gender tagging feature as much as possible, I thought you'd want to weigh in on this.

The post has been changed to co-ed. It really belongs in co-ed, so sorry for the temporary change.
If girls and guys are messy, like in this OT, it should be coed. But if only one is messy and the other is just "giving" the action, then for right now I'm leaving it up to the interpretation of the poster as to whether it should be coed or not.

Oh what a can of worms it will be! Requiring us to think! Most everyone is already dealing with blood loss in their brain and typing 1 handed. What else do you want from us??? lol Keep up the good work MM! Don't let all of the random hostility about gender tagging get you down!
If not covered in frosting, are you really living?
