As I stand before an array of colorful balloons, each filled with a piece of paper indicating the number of chocolate and custard pies I must take to the face, my heart races with anticipation. Dressed in a crisp white button-down blouse tucked into dark colored tights, I eagerly await the moment when my formal attire will be covered in sticky, delicious mess.

A game of spin the pen determines the first balloon to be popped, and my excitement builds as I pick up a ladle and approach the buckets of thick, gooey chocolate batter waiting to be used.
