People run businesses, there is a little something called supply and demand as well as cost of doing business. If you don't like the realities of the situation, go out and try doing it on your own. To add to this most producers charge on low end, $200-300 for a custom and on higher end, $400-600. If you cannot save up or pay for a custom, you have problems in other place and should not be spending money there. Struggling to afford food, shelter or anything pertaining to living is one thing. I really want to know about this new program to force people to buy customs, that sounds like a real moneyspinner. Also, to a degree, I can sympathize with feeling a bit miffed if a producer gets a tad hostile at someone making a video suggestion, but there comes a point where harmless suggestions ("Hey, this would be a cool idea for a video if you like the idea and think it would sell well IMO") turn into demands (repeatedly messaging producers over and over and over). Nobody likes SPAM, and no business likes entitled patrons. Combining those two just makes someone into a menace.

Why are you so angry? Most of your posts you seem very demanding. Do you really think producers make videos for free? The costs of even setting up shoots/equipment isn't cheap. If you want free videos there may be some on "tube" sites etc but a lot of them as just small clips. I dunno what you're ranting about, you're not required to buy anything by being here, unless you think that your needs are not being met and you really need a particular thing produced for you that you have to pay for...well, that's the way services work. On a similar note...I collect and kind of obsess over art. I know that people don't do art for free, generally artist's also don't have payment plans...it's a service and a luxury item, and you do your research and pick out who works for you with what you have to spend. It's really not that expensive, just like customs. Unless you're so addicted that you feel you need dozens of them a year...which I do with my art, thank god I'm single and have no kids

Photos and free trailers- It gets tiresome to hear that folks are getting off to just photos. Are they allowed to? Absolutely! Do I need to hear that I need to put up more free content so you can get off for free? No. I love this and it's my fetish. I kinda feel like this is directed towards me because of my response to the "Unpopular WAM Opinions" thread. (I don't remember what page I replied on)

The thread eventually devolved into publicly shaming people's body types, personal style preferences, and the kind of content producers create. Instead of unpopular opinions it was just an "I Hate This/Don't Like This" thread. Which then became a "Why don't I see what I prefer/Why don't producers make what I like/I think certain producers make bad content" kind of thread, which is not on topic. After I noticed people getting upset and offended I called out the shit behavior for what it was. I basically told them my Unpopular WAM Opinion was to stop being cheap and instead of complaining about what they don't like they can just order a custom for fuck's sake. Or something like that. Either way, I did accuse the people complaining that they were just trying to influence us to make something specialized for free to avoid paying for customs. I was fucking irritated so I kinda went off. But I stand by my words.
I've been a new content creator here, trying to get popular and take these suggestions and spend the money to make it. And it doesn't sell at all and the person who suggests it never buys it. And this fetish is sometimes more expensive to a model because getting messy can ruin a pedicure or a professional hairstyle, or they can't film anything else that day and you have to make it worth their time. So you have to pay them for multiple scenes in a day if you're gonna get your money's worth. You see, it's really hard for us to just make scenes on a whim.
Instead of making suggestions about scenes you want to see, just post your fantasies to the threads. I love sharing fantasies, that's fun to do and it's harmless, no pressure to make anything out of it.

Truthfully, You and myself along with a couple of others were all on that same train. Like I get we all have "our thing" but I just felt that entire thread turned into a bunch of whining and crying because people were not getting exactly what they wanted and to your point, that is what customs are for. That is the whole point of having a commissioned piece in the first place. An artist is not obligated to change their medium simply because you suggested it. A song writer isn't going to amend their lyrics simply because you ask them to. You want something specific, you have to pay for the privilege. I am sure as hell am not going to rewrite and revise my intended vision for a "suggestion" or promise of "ya know what would really sell?!". Neither should anyone else.
I do wanna touch a bit more on the "frustration" bit of being a producer because I don't think people fully understand the effort it takes to put these shoots together.
Firstly, unless our fanbase manages to pay enough to make a livable wage, most of us work. We have a life outside the life. I have a family and people who depend on me. I have obligations that far exceed shooting content. The same goes for the models we work with and even the models on here. They are not sitting by the phone waiting for wee lil ol' me to call them up and get them into the studio. That being said, scheduling can be a lil tough. It's even harder if the models tour. The more models you work with, the more you have to coordinate and make sure everyone knows what, when and how things are going to go down or you will be stuck trying to resolve scheduling conflicts days or even hours before the shoot.
Second, set up, materials, labor. You all have NO IDEA how much effort a lot of us go through to set up a scene. Some may debate it is too much but to a select few of us producers, it is worth it. No one told me that I would be lugging 8-10 50 pound bags of clay up two flights of stairs along with gear, cameras, and lighting. No one warned me about the late nights getting home, long hours editing, color grading footage and rewatching the same scene over and over again to make sure it was right. I knew all that going in and it was worth it because I knew the result of what we would create was worth it as well as the response to what we managed to pull off. Posts like this and remarks in the "unpopular opinion" thread honestly comes off as entitled and takes away what little joy we do have in doing this.
I know some of you think all of us are just a bunch of lifestylers doing this for kicks and pay a bare minimum of expense to the next guy but that doesn't reduce the amount of effort, time (something we will never get back), energy and commitment some of us have towards the craft. It is LITERALLY a labor of love. Have some respect and treat it as such.
Now as for sharing of ideas? I am all for that. It's fun and we do it all the time with our fans. It gets the creativity going and even in one off occasion, it's helped free me from some writers block. Just make sure that your ideas are ideas and not "well I don't like blah blah blah" or some cheesy con to get content specifically made for you without having to buy a custom.
Making smut is easy. Making art takes more!

100% agree. I was thinking the same thing. Participation is fun and it is free. I love reading other's fantasies. Creating a post like "My ultimate mud fantasy", or "Does anyone else like ...", or "Can we recognize ..." - this might inspire a producer to incorporate it or it might inspire a customs customer to want it.
At the same time, I do see quite a lot of posts from producers like "How should we make this next model messy" or "How should I get messy next". When I see these threads, I don't feel encouraged to share ideas because I feel the real intent is to find customs customers and not find ideas. I have so many ideas sometimes, but sometimes I just feel discouraged from sharing them. It does feel bad when you share an idea that you feel is ignored, or when a producer messages asking if you want a custom that you cannot afford. - Still, it might worth sharing ideas in these threads if there is a rare chance that a producer is actually looking for things to try or if a customs customer might see the idea and really want it too.
Mud videos seem the most challenging to deal with if you also have specific kinks or sub-niches. There are all sorts of different kind of mud videos:
* Mud wrestling videos
* Quicksand videos
* Fully clothed mud videos
* Nude mud videos
* Male and homosexual mud videos
* Lesbian mud videos
* Coed or sex mud videos
* Indoor mud/clay smearing videos
* Indoor mud bath videos
* Outdoor real mud or quarry videos
A lot of mud videos are made and there are plenty of producers that make them. I would guess that most producers would not make any idea for free, and producers of one category would not make a mud video of a different category. So it seems challenging to get an idea out on a budget.

Gotta give Rich (SlapstickStuff) credit here for some rare truth in advertising. He said in a previous thread: "Full disclosure: All "Do you want to see this model get messy?" posts are, basically, rhetorical questions.
When myself--or any other producer--make such a post, the shoot is ALWAYS a done deal. We're just trying to drum up some excitement early on. (It's the reason why you see a variety of different requests for wardrobe and substances in the comments... and yet the end result is ALWAYS exactly what particular producer always does. (Unless you paid tons of $$ for a custom.)
Think of these posts as a movie trailer. It's less "do you want to see this" and more "coming soon, go see this!" "
