What is anyone on here into that doesn't involve pies!?

I like history, reading, old 60s/70s cars and buses, geography, football, cricket and boxing.

I also like model trains, here's a photo!

Fitness mainly, cycling, running, that kind of thing. Also, like you, football!

I read biology and psychology.
I do a bit of photography, wood working, I like a little running (mostly parkruns) which I intend to up in frequency next year.
I play board games, make wargamming models and scenery (though rarely play the actual games themselves).

Basically I let my mind wander, sometimes it sticks, other times it's only mildly interesting and I let it go. I'm going to re-learn all my maths next year as I used to be good but had a terrible school experience that nerfed my academic abilities!

Railways - am a lifelong enthusiast.
Travel, both driving to explore, and travel by plane, train, ship, etc.
Computers, programming, and IT tech.
Politics and current affairs.
Cats. Life without cats is not really life.
Photography and videography.
Ruins, castles, and stately homes.
Music and the Goth scene.

Of course you can see how three of those combined with WAM to enable Saturation Hall to come to life on-line.

Dungeon Master, like the class 47, had a few runs behind those on the Trans Pennines between Stalybridge and York. I'm just about old enough to remember the end of steam on BR, saw a few 8Fs, Black 5s, WD2-8-0s, a 9F once and a Britannia once too.
I also like old motors and had a project car a year or two back, a Mark 2 Cortina, which had been off the road for years and I brought back to life, sadly I got made redundant from work not long after finishing it, and had to sell it.

On buses, my favourites were the ex Bury corporation PD3s, 201-225, used to go to school on them, and the Selnec/Manchester City Transport Mancunians

Motorbikes. Riding them, watching them, talking about them, looking at them.

Music. A bit of most but mainly heavy alternative stuff. Going to live gigs is just the best night out ever.

And recently I got into swimming after never doing it since school. Really really enjoying this, it's so motivating to see the progress each week and there's something lovely about an hours exercise that really disconnects you from the stresses of modern life.

Loving the photos some of you have taken, I dabble in a bit of photography but just have the time to take it seriously at the moment. What kit are you all using?

On music, late 70s. Loved the period 1977-80, liked Punk, New wave, Ska, Two tone and disco.

Kind of as basic for a dude in his early 20s as it gets except I'm also into the fundie snark thing big time.

I am a musician as well as I work with live sound production. I play drums, percussion, guitar, bass, piano, clarinet and sax as well as composition.

As a result, I have a deep love for various styles of music. From heavy metal to R&B, Funk, Fusion and jazz. Even Carnatic and Hindustani styles of music. If you can name it, I either play it or it is on my playlist LOL

I am an artist. Started with comics and has merged into painting, charcoal and pastels. Tried picking up airbrushing and tattooing but my current vocation pulled me away. Obviously photography and cinematography are on the list. I had a love for the visual arts since I first saw MacBeth as a kid for a school outing.

I love motorcycles and motocross. Been riding since I was a teen. I love outdoor sports such as archery, IDPA competitive shooting, snowboarding as well enjoy playing ice hockey. I also just got my brown in BJJ and have an affinity for martial arts and boxing.

I am an avid reader and study of 19th and 20th century history and geopolitical history. History is my jam and I find it fascinating how our present can easily be paralleled to our past.

These are amazing places and things to photo! Is there a website/list/fb page/"walking group of those in the know" that has some of these places on it?

I'm a fan of movies, TV, music, and books...but then, who isn't? And I do enjoy sitting back and playing video games.

I'm also huge into art. I do two to three comic cons a year, and do a lot of commissions through the mail.

My main obsession is collecting original art of Psylocke from the X-Men...I have A LOT of pieces from artist's all over. I've got something like 53 single pieces...I also did a jam piece that had 5 different artist's contributions, and I'm currently doing a sketch book exclusively filled with Psylocke, I'm at 9 entries in it so far.

Outside of Psylocke my next biggest collection in art is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia themed pieces, most of them Danny DeVito lol...15 of those.

Then I have a bunch of other random stuff of different comic, TV and movie themed stuff as well. I started off doing blank comic covers, and moved away from that and started just getting stuff on paper. I've got 2 filled portfolios and working on a third one...it's kind of disgusting how much I spend on art, but compared to what other people in this hobby collect, I'm no where near as bad lol.

I love Cemeteries, Highgate being one of my favourite along with Kensal Green, Brompton and West Norwood. I spent years photographing London's Cemeteries

Writing - I've had a few nonfiction pieces published here and there, and my first fantasy novel is coming out any day now from Pink Narcissus
Basketball - I've got a weekly pickup game in the summers, and all year long I go to my neighborhood rec center to do drills, work on my jump shot, etc. Plus I watch NBA games compulsively
Reading - appropriately for a writer, I read constantly. I was at about a book a week for a while there, though at this point it's closer to a book every ten days. The last good thing I finished was Dorohedoro, which was fucking crazy but a fun ride. Music - I listen to all sorts of stuff, but these days my mainstays are probably rock and bluegrass. Like, my wife and I just came back from a trip to NYC to see The Beths, and we see Nickel Creek (nb: NOT Nickelback, Nickel Creek) every time they're in town. I also make mixtapes, both for funsies and as gifts for friends and family.
Gaming - I've got a weekly game night with a group of nerd friends. Right now we're doing D&D and Spirit Island with a little bit of Smash Bros. as a palate cleanser, but in the past we've done Munchkin, Betrayal, Gloomhaven, Legendary... you get the idea.
Movies & TV - my one buddy and I go to the movies just about every week, even if there's nothing good to watch (...and these days there's usually nothing good to watch ^_^.

Interesting thread I grew up riding and racing dirt bikes, then got into street bikes as an adult. Was always into music. Classic rock from my parents, metal from my older cousin, and rap from my brother. Then I came of age in the 90's with punk and 3rd wave ska. I play guitar, bass, and drums, and have collected (hoarded) a decent guitar/bass collection (mostly Gibson, Fender and PRS). Got into photography as a teen and was lucky enough to have access to a nice 35mm SLR. Used to be into classic cars, but that hobby has fallen by the wayside (as seen by the decaying '79 Camaro in the background of some of our videos).

Andi is also into music. She is in her 20's though so Emo is her thing. She also likes to paint and draw. One of her more unusual hobbies is post crossing and pen paling.

I enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, brewing/drinking beer. Although most of those hobbies take a back seat when you have small children so I have focused on my other hobbies that I can do when they are sleeping; city building and flight simulation games.

My hobbies l like. Are reading about us military history. Collecting wwii us army uniform and equipment. Playing videogames, l'm a huge Disney fan. I love watching cartoons and anime, going on walks, learning Spanish. Rock, metal, jazz, are my favorite music. Nfl and cfl. Gun collecting.

I'm mostly a car guy going to shows, races ect. I also go to a ton of comedy shows that I may or may not preform in also go shooting from time to time, watch sports (Mostly just Chicago teams, The Bears have gotten me soo messy this year thanks to some bets on here.)

-I'm a writer by trade, mainly for indie video games, and for animation. I also do amateur voice acting and commissioned artwork when the orders come in.
- I collect wrestling autographs (Have about 400) and several hundred TV and Movie autos from my favorite franchises (Ghostbusters, Doctor Who, Star Trek, etc.).
- I have a several thousand issue comic book collection from the early 40's to present, mostly Superman (A complete run from 86-2017)
- My wife enjoys music (Big Prince fan) and she collects Disney merch mostly from the 70's and 80's.

We also through our son have a large vintage video game collection. He loves anything that is tactile so lots of cartridges from NES, SNES, Sega, 64 floating around the house at any given time.

-80's and 90's movies/music/ pop culture (I challenge anyone to a trivia game on this )

Edit: Forgot to add drawing. I used to do self portraits mostly of celebrities. I had a nice side hustle doing that years ago and doing poster size comic and cartoon drawings. I'm long out of practice unfortunately.

More specifically, I like collecting and playing more of the retro stuff, especially games from the 16-bit era.

Additionally, I just got into record collecting a little over a year ago. I don't have the most elaborate setup and I have maybe a little over 50 LPs so far, so nothing big (as it is expensive), but I love music and having an interactive format to listen to it while admiring the cover artwork and inserts is just something special!

I guess I have a fondness for tech and media that is older than I am a lot of the time.

for me it's PC gaming, walking (especially finding new routes and exploring) and photography

there is always something more to see/discover in a cemetery, but also somewhere that in many ways remains quite constant, but also so very changeable

I was too young to experince BR steam, but used to go bashing in the 80s. By then the trans pennines were Class 45s and 8-coach trains, mostly Mk2s with a declassified Mk1 open first at the eastern end. Sometimes a bunch of us would come down from Glasgow overnight to Crewe, nice bouncy 304 into Manchester, and then spend the day doing insect leaps from Manchester Victoria to Stalybridge and back, to get the imense thrash up Miles Platting bank with each eastbound departure. My lords!

When I had my old Canon DSLR, I went through a little dark phase of trying to capture odd and terrifying things. Old abandoned mental hospitals, Cemeteries, condemned buildings etc. It was a fun little phase that I sometimes revisit on occasion during the fall months. I was planning on doing some film on my Cine rig this year for Halloween but damn work kept getting in the way
