There are many different substances that can be used in the world of WAM. From simple water (wet), sweet foods, savoury foods, through to more disgusting substances such as dog food. You then have mud, clay and of course gunge or slime, in its various forms.
Once such substance that plays a big part in WAM is foam, whether from a can, a bar, or flakes, shaving foam is a staple WAM substance. Made into a pie, mixed in to slosh, or just squirted straight from the can, shaving foam is an amazing thing to get messy with. Used in countless slapstick/clown routines and on tv shows and films, it's a glorious wam choice. Yes, there are some drawbacks, it drys on skin, it can sting, and there is the potential choking or slip hazard. But used correctly and safely (which all messy substances should be), it really is amazing.
The feeling of being covered in smooth gooey shaving foam is a sensation to behold.
So let's celebrate shaving foam. There really is no place like foam.
Thanks for you comments Juilesboy, I agree, Katie Green was really good, and her scenes for Gilly's Silly House were awesome, and mighty messy.
Not forget Clown Julie, the Queen of Slosh.
In fact Gilly's Silly House was primarily foam pies, there was real food (custard, beans, chocolate etc.) But mostly foam pies and slosh. It's sadly missed as it was terrific.
I just recently tried cool whip pies, as it seems to be popular in the lifestyle, but foam is fundamentally better, in my opinion. It feels lighter, it's nice to rub around, and even works as a suitable slime.
No one has ever done it better than Splosh! Man, they had the best pies and buckets - but Gilly and some of the other women in those scenes were HOT. Some of the hottest girl on girl WAM I've ever seen. I really must dig out my old hard drives and find my favourite scenes, or obtain new copies.
I agree that Gilly's Silly House and Splosh were amazing with the shaving cream pies and slosh.
There are many others sites that do messy shaving sets, tainster, all wam, wambabes, to name but a few, which are all great, but (maybe me being bias, as a self-proclaimed splosh advocate), there's just something about a Splosh/ Gilly's Silly House shoot that make them superb.

Absolutely agree. Foam is really great messy substance. You can get unbelievably messy with, it feels superb, and great/easy to clean up.
I love this conversation! I had a lovely foam session a few days ago and it was really great, I love how soft and covering the foam is, I can cover myself up to look like a mountain of foam and it's so easy to clean! I hope you enjoy the photos and the scene!
Any chance you could ID the ones with the girl in the dangly pendant/necklace? Assuming they're from that discontinued pie show but figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
I don't use shaving foam too often but I love it's effect and its versatility. You can mix it with water to get any kind of consisteny ... from the appearance of whipped cream to runny slosh or slime. Add food coloring to it and you can add any color tune you like. It washes of easily and some models prefer it to using edibles.
There are some downsides however. Most shavon foams are perfumed, which can be off putting for the model if her whole body and hair is covered in smelly foam. It also can dry out skin and hair when washed off ... sometimes foam can ruin smooth hair, which is especially annoying if you plan to shoot more than one scene in one session.
I found a certain brand of shaving foam that offers great consistency, doesn't use any perfumes and uses ALoevera for adding back some moisture. I added a image of the brand to the post, so if you have a chance to get it, it's great!
But that brings me back to my initial statement, why I don't use it too often. Using that special shaving foam is not cheap, so providing the quantitiy necessary for a good shoot can be quite the investment .
But enough for the nitty gritty of foam use ... off to my pictures
