I am exclusively a fan of mainstream pie-in-the-face content. This includes everything from TV shows and movies to every kind of non-produced internet content (Youtube clips, Facebook clips, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). The UMD is no longer supportive of that kind of content, or a feasible place to share that content. In the past, there were other forums and mailing lists and groups for this content, but all of them are now defunct (except for possibly some Youtube collections maintained by a few people, but there honestly aren't even any particularly great examples of those.)
So, as a public service, I have set up a message board here....
I will only continue to provide this message board if people actually use it and contribute positively.
This forum is for two purposes only:
1. Sharing leads on upcoming events. These are possible pie events that may be happening in the future. This could be an upcoming TV show or movie that may feature a pie scene. This could be a real life event such as a Pie a Pi sorority event at a local college. This could be an internet contest such as a Facebook contest where members of an office compete to see who will be pied at an upcoming office party (e.g. by getting donations for them, or by voting for them by liking their photo on Facebook, etc.). This could be an upcoming Twitch stream where the participants are either offering to get pied if a donation happens or where the participants may be open to suggestions if donations are made (e.g. local college clubs often do livestreams or 24-hour marathon streams where they try to raise money and they are more than willing to accept suggestions for donations). There are many other possibilities, but you get the idea.
2. Sharing already-existing content (videos and pics). The New Material Forum is for stuff that is less than a month old. If it's older than that, you can post it in the Old Material Forum. I'm interested mostly in new finds - not just dumping a bunch of old Youtube clips that you should already know about.
Rules and regulations: *To get things started and to see if there are people out there who want this kind of service, I've posted two examples already (one "lead" and one clip). The "lead" is not particularly exciting (I have at least ten far more exciting leads), but I've deliberately chosen a mundane boilerplate example. I'm happy to contribute more, but I won't bother if there's no audience, or nobody else is contributing.
**This board isn't meant to be a place for discussion or banter. It's just meant to get the info shared. I won't approve any posts that blabber on about this topic or that - just post the material or the lead, provide a general description, and a suggested course of action if you suggest any action.
***No nudity of any kind allowed. No illicit or pornographic content. No produced content - this isn't the place to post pics of you throwing pies at an escort in your backyard. Only mainstream clips. I've added an extra space for other types of mess (slime, water, etc.) if people want to use it, but it has the same rules as the rest of the forum.
Please let me know if there are suggestions or questions. I look forward to seeing if there is a group of people who want to be kept abreast of mainstream news and clips. There used to be a nice community of cool people that was interested in this stuff (like, actually sane people who weren't trolls or complete morons - I know that's tough to believe).
It's pretty simple. Follow the examples that I already posted. All posts must be approved before they will appear - if you don't follow the example, it won't be approved.
And by the way, I don't object to either male or female content. Whatever suits your fancy.

You want to have a forum dealing with pie fights, but you seem intent on taking any fun out of it.
Taking the fun out of it, eh? Well, people can privately message each other if they want, but the forum itself should just be for the material.
Something that may be helpful to add in the future is a section on searching for material. Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter have very problematic search engines that require a lot of patience. I've always felt that Twitch is wildly underused (both for this purpose and other purposes).
Has anyone tried using Cameo? Nothing in their Terms of Service seems to prohibit you from asking a "celebrity" to get a pie thrown at them.

if Bree Larson wants to take a pie, she'll do it. I'm not going to bother her on her weekend off.

What does this mean? You have too much respect for Brie Larson's time? Even if she is offering that time at a stated rate on Cameo (and is presumably hoping you'll request she use that time)?
I assume from this kind of flippant response that you're just not interested in the idea of investing to create more mainstream material. That's fine.
My two cents is to not have another location for me to xheck for content or topics. I may be for a pie/cake specific forum, bit that is as far as I would want to go.
I'm always a little skeptical when someone wishes to heavily emphasize the PG nature of their interests when the underlying themes are highly fetishistic. Call me cynical, but... actually just call me cynical. There's something really unsettling about an austere, list-like forum detailing all the charity events to jerk off to...

I understand that position, and you've stated it well. But, these kinds of mainstream clips were shared for decades...pointing out upcoming TV shows and Myspace albums we found used to be common things acclaimed by everyone. That was what we did in the 1990s and everyone loved it.
Is it that today's social media allows more personal access to the people involved? It's obviously much easier today to do all sorts of digging into things online. Is it that the #MeToo age has caused people to fret about the feelings of third parties we don't know in a way that we didn't before? Excuse my snark in opining that I don't care. #MeNeither.
In any event, where does this position lead? There just can't be any place to share mainstream stuff? Mainstream stuff is always gonna be charity events and college fundraisers and silly game shows. That stuff is just not allowed anymore?
I'm not "emphasizing" any nature of the material. You do with it whatever you want. Create a Powerpoint with it and teach Slapstick 101 at your local community college.

Ah, so we're going for a RunninRebel vibe now? Off board again.
Mainstream PG content is still welcome at the UMD though, only thing that's changed is that stuff from kids shows, or shows primarily aimed at kids like the KCA, is now off limits. There are still plenty of threads about those Latin American game shows with pies and stuff, and I gather Indian TV occasionally does some rather good messy stuff too, all of which is valid here - a while back there was a totally awesome Indian TV clip with about ten women in a huge mud pool all dressed in white outfits, which needless to say didn't stay white for very long! Is there any need for a new forum?

New pieforum:
1) Make lots & lots of rules 2) HEY, ANYBODY! WHEN ARE WE GETTIN' THAT BRIE LARSON PIE PIC ALREADY?!
Look, not to brush aside any reservations about implicit creepiness in the concept that any of you have expressed, but I went ahead and rewatched ROOM and FREE FIRE last night to start getting my Brie wank on, so HappyCamper had really better come through on this.
There's nothing gleeful about my apathy. It's cantankerous at best, and evenly directed toward all genders and races.
Seriously though, has noone mentioned using Cameo before? Ostensibly, it's a site where you can ask recognizable celebrities to do what you want them to do, provided it's legal and reasonable. I would think that would appeal to many tastes here.
Personally, I'm not that interested in whether it's a celebrity or non-celebrity getting pied. But, there are a ton of people here who are - celeb love is the fuel that drives those endless KCA threads.

I've never heard of Cameo before, but I've just been looking at the website: https://www.cameo.com/faq "Cameo is a platform where fans can book personalized video shoutouts from their favorite celebrities, athletes, or influencers."
As far as I can tell, it's a fixed rate per person, and the idea is that they record a short video message for you. However, it's not Fiverr, and the celebrity will want to record as many videos as possible in a short space of time rather than going off to have a shower in between.
So, my impression would be:
"Hey Regis, good luck at the Golden Girls memorabilia auction!" Reasonable.
"Hey Cicada, watch me get a pie in the face." Unreasonable.
Flank, that would be my assumption too. But, there are a lot of "Intro Videos" where celebrities hint that they will do anything reasonable. Now, what's reasonable and what isn't? Your guess is as good as mine, but I'm surprised someone hasn't tried.
Just as an illustration, I've added another lead to the Forum - a much better lead.
A cosplay group called League of Enchantment periodically has nominations for its members to get pied. Usually, they ask you to like or comment on their Facebook photos to vote for them. There are some great choices to pick from. I attended the event where they did the pieing last year, and it was okay - not great, but decent.
This is a job that calls for 10 volunteers who each have ten phony Facebook profiles - and zim zam zoom, we've got it in the bag.
There are really so many opportunities out there to exploit like this. You're gonna win some and lose some, and some will turn out not so great - but it's such a shame not to take the opportunities.

That Guy said: I definitely agree that we need alternatives to the UMD, but I think perhaps you're not getting what has made the UMD become problematic.
(Hint: It involves rules.)
Indeed, this is what happens when a site becomes big, has visibility, and moves money. A site that's JUST a forum on the other hand; no one is going to bother with.
That Guy said: Okay, look, we got enough Admins for the new board now, but I think the Masturtater position is still open.
Personally, I think you've got more of an eggplant vibe goin on. Also, welcome home again.

No, I assume it means that Happy has respect for Brie as a human being. I'm guessing he isn't one of those guys that has nothing better to do than stalk celebrity social media and creep them out with our kink. There are people here that regularly do that.
Also, what's with the interest with Brie Larson. She has ZERO ass, a ho hum at best face, and acting talents synonymous with her first name.
