OMG those tights--I NEED those in my life! Somehow, I've gone this long without knowing they are a thing. I know they are designed to provide "easy access" and all that but they are so unspeakable practical and solve my biggest issue, the reason I hate tights--TOO MANY LAYERS AND MOVEMENT. It becomes a chore to reassemble myself after using the restroom--bunched up panties under hose result in a lumpy butt and get uncomfortable (and picking a wedgie out of that cannot be done discretely). And then they never ever sit right in the crotch for long and move around with you and... Being able to wear panties over those and have them actually stay in place would solve *all* the issues (and have the side benefit of showcasing cute underwear lol)!!

Those who are *really* into tights (ahem!) know that one of the advantages of normal tights is that you don't actually need panties under them and are actually better off without them - free to 'breathe', so to speak! It feels SO much nicer that way too, with the lovely smooth nylon against your skin.
Apart from all that, they're great for filling up with sloppy clay or anything else of your choice ... especially if you have at least a couple of pairs on, as they slide around over each other when lubricated by the gloop and the feeling then is *amazing*!

They're everywhere on Ali Express and the quality is not bad. And yes they're super convenient and fun for exactly the reason you mentioned! Thigh highs with the little silicone band at the top to keep them up are too. The grippy part isn't annoying and I think they're a little better with hot weather. I'm on the tall and thin side but the ones by Hanes can still come up higher than I'd want them to. Also convenient because only one will go bad at a time.

I find the cotton crotch on tights to be a bit thin and untrustworthy for absorbing vagina juice and I'm always terrified it's going to leak straight through. If it moves or isn't hugging my parts, I'm certain it's going to end up on the non-crotch part and then I'll really be in trouble. I've always kinda wondered how other women get away with it--maybe my vagina is just too active or something

I've also tried stay-ups too! They don't always stay up as advertised though. I feel like they work best on thicker thighs, maybe ones with more skin texture? My thigh skin is super smooth (Asian genes!) so if there's any sweat or anything, even stay-ups will slide a bit.
